agenda and refills question?

hi! Is there a way you can show us a picture of how the back looks like? I know this is a really old post but worth a try :) I recently bought a ulysses but i'm on the fence about returning the notebook because the refill is seriously way too expensive. But, if i can find an cheaper refill alternative I'll definitely keep it!

I think it depends on where you live. I have a medium size Ulysse and any A5 notebook will fit if the number of spirals matches the H one. I have not found A5 size in the US but this is a standard size in other countries. You still need one H notebook so you have the tab which attaches the notebook to the cover.

I have the Ulysses PM size and I just started using it. Ohh so I get it now.. I would have to put in the separately while having the H notebook in tact. Aka I would need to take apart (sort of) the cheaper notebook and put it in through the H notebook spirals. I think I read the a6 works with pm size?

No no, its not that complicated. You take out the plastic piece out of the H notebook after you're done with it, and stick it in the spirals of the cheaper one. Like this:

I recently purchased an Hermes Ulysse in the PM size and I'm looking for alternative options (not Hermes) for the calendar/agenda refills. I've read some of the threads on notebook refills, but I haven't seen any on the calendar ones. I hope the lovely people on this forum can help me find one! TIA :smile1:

BTW-I live in the US, so some of the options that are available in the UK may not work out for me...

Valentine - I have found nothing for my Ulysse MM. I went into a high end paper store in my city with my Ulysse and was told no refill exists (to the owner's forever knowledge) that would work with the Ulysse MM.

I found a website that has refiils-maybe something will match size.

Exaclair.com ,click on Exacompta and then select planners, organizers and inserts .

Here's a quick reveal of my Rose Sakura agenda cover, cherve mysore in GM size.

Specifications:
Simple Agenda Cover - Grand Modèle (GM)
This is the agenda cover with one or two hooks for refill and two inside pockets. Dimensions: 9.5 x 13.2 cm
US h.com is sold out of it but its available in black on the UK website: http://uk.hermes.com/leather/agendas/agenda-covers/gm-simple-15786.html

The refills for this range from $45 - $155 which is an insane amount and I would save as much on the refill as I possibly can and have that savings go towards another agenda cover. :p

Refills here: http://usa.hermes.com/leather/agendas/agenda-refills/agenda-refill-gm.html

What I found out:

1) Dual use: The GM size fits your passport so this agenda cover doubles up as a passport holder/cover.

2) The size of the refill is the standard B7 size. If you're looking for cheaper alternatives for your agenda in GM, order it in B7 size. This is readily available in the UK and all commonwealth countries, I'm not sure about the US since our standard paper sizing is different. The one that I am using (as pictured) is from Azone which costs about only a dollar. I cut off the plastic cover and cover page of the notebook and viola, perfect for the cover.

3) I purchased a really really small pen which allows me to slot it into the rings of the refill and this made the agenda cover a pleasure to use. This particular one is from Zebra, Japan, costing around $4.

Question:
Now, I'm curious. The cover that I have has two hooks. Those of you with the same cover with two hooks, what do you do? Do you hang two separate refills on them or do you hook one refill on both hooks?

Hello lovely ladies,

I'm in search of a new agenda and I want to buy non H refills when I purchase the agenda. Has anyone had any luck in the U.S.?

Did a boutique tell you the calendar option is no longer available for the ulysse? I have been looking for one for months but just assumed I was unlucky.

In 2015, I cannot find Whitelines on B&N. What refills has anyone found for the Ulysse MM & GM?

Perhaps h created it that way.

Great color, I usually get black agendas, but this is great.

I'm interested too for all sizes - the Daytimer that apparently used to work is no longer available, at least in US and UAE.

I'm looking as well.

Does anyone know of a non H address style insert for the Ulysses MM? I tried H yesterday and was told they discontinued this for the mm also the multi colored page one. :(.
