I am really torn between 0.5ctw and 0.6tcw

0.6ctw j,vs2
0.5ctw i/h vs2

will i notice the size difference or color difference much? i'm so torn

or maybe, te 0.33tcw pre set studs

I really don't think you'll notice a size difference - .05 diff/ear. If the J color pair is not pulling any significant 'warmth' - they sound great, as do the 1/2 cts too. At this point, I would look at the $$ difference since the size/quality is so close. Best of Luck!

^^Oh, that could definitely be tricky. Perhaps go with the .50 twt then. That way there should be no concerns with the color. Inclusions should be invisible unless under magnification and even then with a VS2 grade, negligible. Irregardless, are they returnable if you aren't happy? If so, go for what you want.

o, yes i forgot. I am looking at ideal cuts for sure. I am ordering from blue nile because they have an Uk based depandance and i just pay taxes, no import duties. They have a 30 day return policy but i would like to avoid that if possible because i need to pay for returns

on ideal you can go to J and not see color from the top.
It's possible you wouldn't be able to tell a difference in size though, so really either are great!

her's look like a 1cttw {.50 crt/ear} to me.
I like martinis better because you'll see more stone, since the stones aren't huge I'd prefer less metal.
I've never been a fan or martini settings, they look too trendy. If you're into trend, that's fine, I like to have enduring, so I go for 4 prong basket settings. Whatever settting you choose, I wouldn't go for the top quality in stiones, just a nice eyeclean with good color and good cut and symetry.

^^I disagree - martini settings simply sit more flush to the ear, have less metal and can give the appearance of your studs floating on the lobe. I do not think it is trendy. I can see where a low-setting basket would be preferred depending on your lobe. Size of lobe, whether it is 'fleshy', etc.

:confused1:
I'm completely not trendy, I don't buy any jewelry that's not considered classic. . . I agree martini's aren't "trendy" at all. One less prong and no basket isn't a trend IMO.
No one can even see your setting when they're in your ears.

I'm 5'0. Is 1cttw too big for me? I'm also in the process of buying stud earrings. I have a .5 and they look too small, or is it just me? Has anybody bought any jewelry from diamonds.com? Thanks.
