I've wondered the same thing too but I've seen this article were she claimed that she could not afford that kind of house in london that she can afford in los angeles.

And that's totally fine. Word it the way you intended..that you get more house for your $$ in L.A. but saying you "can't afford" something is utter BS from her. She can afford anything she wants I'm sure. Maybe if she went through with the over 100 mill Vegas residency she could "afford" a lot more :graucho:

first turning down peppa pig, then lying about the Vegas residency and now this….

I mean it’s apples and oranges because London doesn’t have space at all like LA but LA doesn’t have the architecture or the history. I mean why not just say you like living in LA as others have said :lol:

Also My OH thinks Adele’s Botox/PS is terrible but I think they did a good job personally.

She has 4 estates now, it seems. The smaller one is apparently where the ex lives.

If she wanted, she could add a London townhouse or a sprawling country place in the UK somewhere, but to say she can't afford London is rather odd. She just bought her 4th property, a $58 million estate from Stallone.

Just say you don't want to live in the UK, Adele. lol

She’s rolling in the deep dough! Over the weekend, TMZ broke the news that Adele has made a lowball offer to buy Sylvester Stallone’s extravagant 90210 estate. While the deal has not yet closed — Adele is reportedly still mired in the all-important inspections phase of escrow — the star has agreed to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $58 million for the house. Once she signs off on the inspection reports and removes any other contingencies, the internationally mega-famous songstress should be able to close on her new home.

Real estate sources have publicly characterized the $58 million purchase price as a “steal,” which seems a little wild on the surface but does make some sense when you consider the property was last offered at $80 million, and Stallone originally wanted a brain-shredding $110 million for the place.

Adele is finally speaking out since she canceled her Las Vegas shows ... saying she canceled because the concerts would've been "half-assed" ... which now has lots of folks wondering if COVID was the real reason.

Adele appeared on the BBC One Series on Friday ... again explaining she tried her best to go on with the show ... and then she dropped the "half-assed" comment.

Remember, Adele said half her crew had COVID and that's the main reason she pulled the plug on her residency last minute. If COVID were the real reason it would be kind of weird to say the performance would have been "half-assed."

As we reported, there were a number of disputes between Adele and the folks behind the scenes ... there were disputes over set pieces, audio and general production issues. Some folks in Caesar's camp say they just could not please her.

That said, Adele spent Thursday night at Heaven, a gay bar in London, where she sang along to "It's Raining Men" and ended up on stage doin' a little pole dance!!!

She also judged the stripping contest!

Most of the folks there said Adele was a little boozy, and a lot of fun.

With all those houses in the same area, it seems like Adele is trying to set up her own commune similar to what they had on Big Love where from the street it seems like separate households - but then the backyard connects them all and they're one big happy polygamous family!

She looks more than "a little boozy", more like wasted. Among other things she's leaning over the VIP area railing, in tears asking "how do they know it's me?", stripped to her bra, pole danced, fell down, takes over Porn Idol event on stage, tells one of the drag queens "I've been wetting myself, my shirt ripped apart" and rants about being female.

There's more and if she can't remember it in the morning, it's on YouTube.
