^^ Adele doesn't seem old to me if you hear her speak or read her interviews she just looks older to me. She has a very young, fun personality IMO like Jennifer Lawrence. But she has kind of a classic beauty stage look that makes her look older IMO - full figured, more conservative hair and clothing, the big updos, lots of makeup.

I thought the show was great! She seems very "real" and I think she's just lovely. Also I find her speaking voice & her little cackle/laugh very endearing. It's such a contrast to her singing voice.
The "live at Royal Albert Hall" show is really good & similar, if you haven't seen it. (You can find it on YouTube.) I think it was from 2012. She's even more engaging with the audience & her pottymouth makes a few appearances.

I agree, there are VERY few performers out there today who could do what Adele does - just stand on a stage & sing. (Heck half the performers today couldn't carry a tune in a bucket if you hear them live.) The entire show is carried by Adele's actual voice - not all sorts of distractions such as crazy costumes or sets. I love that she doesn't have to come out practically naked or riding a giant phallus onto the stage. The focus is on the talent with her, unlike so many.

Taylor Swift has no real talent IMO. I see her as a commercial artist. I use to love music, but all you hear is auto-tune crap now and it annoys the hell out of me.
You almost gave me a heart attack. Ny tickets don't go on sale until tomorrow-Thursday. Never pay full reseller prices. Tickets will go down the closer to the show. You can also luck out if you go to the box office the day of and wait for release of more tickets. I lucked out and saw her during the height of 21 when all her shows were sold out. Resellers are so annoying.
Completely agtee and many of the acts today I put in the same category. I am not of fan of Miley (too old), but I recently saw a video of her sitting on a piano singing Silent Night and was in awe. She really has such vocal talent and she should showcase that instead of her onstage antics. I don't see anywhere near that level of talent from Taylor Swift. She really needs the auto tune or whatever they call it.
