I was talking to evolkatie about this, and I measured some of my heels and discovered they are very different. I thought this might be nice for reference, b/c some of the heels that are supposedly the same height vary vastly. Please contribute if you can. I measured my heels using this method:
http://www.bridalshoes.com/tips/

List your shoes this way, please:
Style - actual height of heel (size)

Thanks!

I'll start:
Pigalle 100 - 95mm (39)
Simple 100 - 95mm (38.5)
VP 120 - 110mm (38.5)
Anemone/Pigalle 120 - 125mm (38.5)
Yasmine 100 - 110mm (38.5)
Joli Noeud (Dorcet too) 100 - 100mm (39)
Rolando/Mad Mary - 120mm (39)
Declic 120 (lower heel) - 115mm (39)
Clichy 120 - 130mm (38.5)
Alti Pump 160 - 150mm (39)

Very cool, Laureen, here's their pic for quick reference.

"Measuring Heel Height
The question of "how high is this heel" varies depending on how the heel is measured. In the image below you can see two different shoes with the same heel height. If you were to measure the heel with the method used by BridalShoes.com, both shoes would measure a 3.5” heel. Oddly enough, many other stores and designers use a different method; they measure the heel height from the center of the heel. As you can see from the diagram, measuring these shoes from the center of the heel yields two different heel heights when clearly the shoes are the same heel height. With this in mind, you will find that many other websites will list the heel heights anywhere from ¼” to ½” lower than BridalShoes.com does for the same shoes. We prefer the method we use because it never varies. It also makes it possible for brides to accurately and confidently measure their own heel heights at home to compare to the styles they see on-line. If you are measuring a heel height on your own, be sure to measure up to the seam where the heel meets the sole; do not measure to the top of the sole.

The heel heights that are quoted on BridalShoes.com are for a size 7 ½ . A size 5 will be slightly lower (about 1/8” to 3/16”) and a size 10 will be slightly higher."

And for those of us who don't think so well in mm, here are some approximate conversions:

70 mm = 2.75 inches
85 mm = 3.34 inches
90 mm = 3.54 inches
95 mm = 3.74 inches
100 mm = 3.93 inches
110 mm = 4.33 inches
115 mm = 4.52 inches
120 mm = 4.72 inches
125 mm = 4.92 inches
130 mm = 5.11 inches
140 mm = 5.51 inches
150 mm = 5.90 inches
160 mm = 6.29 inches

This is a great idea, Laureen. Here are my contributions:

Very Prive 120 - 115 mm (37.5)
Yoyo 120 - 105 mm (37.5)
O My 110 - 110 mm (38.5)
Helmut 100 - 100 mm (37)

Hope I did it right!

Ok, remeasured them carefully this time. Or at least my higher ones. All in mm, all sized 40 or 40.5.

Laponos are 131-132.

Rolandos are 131-133.

Peniche pumps are 137.

Gwenissimas are 141.

Forever Tinas are 145.

Alti 160 pumps are 157.

Patent Alti half boots are 162.

And, the "champion" so far, peep toe suede cream platform sandal/pumps (dunno the name)--168!...

What a great thread...I need this. I am very particular about my heel heights. The only one I know off the top of my head right now is:

Decollete 100 - 105mm (36.5)

I only know this one because I measured it last week. My other CLs I never measured, so I'll have to get them out today and do that. I'll edit this post then.
