A question about the black giant day bag I just bought today

Hi ladies,

I just bought a black covered giant day today in Neiman Marcus. My question is, the leather seems really distressed!! I had a cornflower city from way back and the leather was distressed but still smooth and "in one piece"! This black giant day bag's leather is such I'm worried about cracking!

Is this an individual problem or all the bags this fall are like this? Would the leather actually cracked?

I'm thinking of going back to check out other colors to see if only the blacks are like this. Any insights? Thanks!!!

Do you have pics? It sounds like you have a wrinkly and very distressed bag, maybe you should try some leather moisturizer/conditioner if you feel its too dry.

My Officer Day was like that too. I used apple care moisturizer and now it is all good!

Hi, just to give you an update. I returned the bag to Neiman. Now I have to decide what bag to get. Still thinking of Balenciaga giant covered day, probably in a different color. Or maybe a different brand....
