We don't disclose details about reasons. Because we don't want to give advices to fake makers.;)

If you are thinking about buying a Bal on ebay, please have it authenticate here. Some fakes are quite good.

OK. Did you already pay for it? If you didn't, please DO NOT PAY. If you did, please contact your seller to cancel the transaction immediately. You can tell the seller you are not sure about the authenticity of the bag. Meanwhile, please ask ladies in the authentication forum about this item. The bag's inner tag is off. They will give you their opinions, too. You can direct your seller about your post at the authentication forum after you ask about it.

I just received it. I am not unfamiliar with B-bags as I have several. But for the tag issue addressed in guide I would swear it is authentic. I will take your advice which I truly appreciate.

I really understand it is very upsetting for you to see the bag you bought was in this section. But if you buy a Bal not direct from Bal boutiques, you are taking some risks about its authenticity. Even if you buy a bag from authorized retailers like NM, Barneys and other stores, some nasty shoppers buy an authentic one from them and return a fake. You might accidentaly buy the fake from them. It doesn't happen often, but not zero possibility. Also, unfortunately fake makers have improved their skills to make fakes more real. Last year, many members had super fake problems from some sellers which were considered reliable souce. Those fakes fooled experts first. But they are brilliant and found how to spot super fakes!:yahoo:

I don't know if you know Bluefly or not. But they are known a reputable online seller and were considered a reliable souce of many high end brands. But they sold fake Bals and Guccis.

In the fake Gucci thread, someone found they are selling a fake Hugo Boss suites last week. Their quality control seems getting worse.

Even though you are familiar with Bal, buying from a Bal on ebay is riskier. The listing photos are not many. But I can spot some concerned parts. I would really recommend you to take close up pictures of the inner tag - front and back, bale, and rivet. And ask about it to experts in the authentication forum.
