I'm glad you received the refund. Even though you got your money back, it must be quite unpleasant process you went through. I'm sorry you had bad experience. The clutch is definately fake. When I posted the clutch here, pics were not available, so I couldn't tell. But now I could see the pics and it's clearly fake. The other seller sold many of this same kind of fake Citys before. I guess the same fake maker is adding their fake items. We really need to be careful.

Quite unpleasant it was indeed. Feel worse for those who experience this with higher priced items.
If only we can stop all of these crooks!

Seems like not too obvious kind fakes are circulating a lot. They don't look fakes. If somebody is not familiar with Bals, it is easy for them to be tricked. Seems like the same fake maker's items posted above. Please report them.

This one is truly hideous, a real eye-sore...it is the cheapest vinyl ever and the gold hardware is super cheap & lightweight. There are 5 of these coral bags in Winners dwntwn and they are still $50. Our prices are crazy...you'd think they were like $15.

It's unfortunate because this seller used to be one of the reputable ones. I do not claim to be an expert but after seeing the pics, I highly doubt that a reputable professional authenticator has indeed authenticated this bag. Plus I have also read comments from the Chanel forum that the seller (which was initially included in their list of reputable Chanel resellers) had posted some fake Chanel too.

This is my first post, so I apologize in advance for any issues this post may contain. It appears eBay has not removed the items referenced above and the seller continues to list these items for sale. I cannot tell if they are the same Bals being relisted because they were returned or they have several because they are fakes. It appears they have sold four very recently. The main reason I am posting is due to an interesting exchange that took place on the ATB thread a few days ago regarding one of the Bals listed above. Despite being told this item was fake, the person requesting the authentication of the bag claimed they bought it anyway and had it authenticated at Barney's. This was clearly not true, so it makes you wonder who the poster really was.
