A new Coach Line called Snoopy?

Nothing Coach does should surprise me... but I am really irritated with this whole thing. Online pricing was quite different from stores, a coupon code coming out a day after the release, discounts offered at some stores and not others, some stores doing price adjustments and charge sends while others won't (and claiming that is "company policy"), mislabelling/miscommunication on material of bags. :cursing:

It's a mess. It'll be my third time heading there this week from buying on launch day, re-buying with the coupon the day after and now returning the overpriced online products. I'm only about 20 minutes away from the outlet but I can imagine how frustrating it is for those who don't have one nearby.

Not lidera5, but yes they were! Are you in Canada? I read where you said they were $29 and wondered if that was an error. What outlet did you see them in for that price?

My SA scanned one of them for me when i asked, if they were 49$ they would be full price, nothing was full price everything had some sort of discount. Super odd... there should be no price difference at least i wouldn't think so?

Thanks for the info. You really know your stuff [emoji4]

I've collected all my life. :smile1: There are books out about the various collectibles. If you see any written by either Freddi Margolin or Andrea Podley, they're a real treasure trove of info and pictures. Those ladies *really* know their Snoopy!

I see most of those same issues with Victoria's Secret/PINK stores (I collect the dogs). Discussions about those stores could be identical, just substitute one name for the other. The misleading / mislabeled / whatever they're going to say it was materials is another thing. I don't remember Coach ever doing that before and it REALLY annoys me! My cynical side thinks it's some kind of market test to see what we'll put up with.

Outlet is a roadtrip for me, but a 25% adjustment would be worth the drive. I'm guessing they sent the coupons out because people didn't clean out the stores on the first day. Maybe they forgot to factor in that it was a weekday, it's January, unlike NYC most people drive to the outlets, and there is a boatload of snow in many, many places.

They took my name & zip as usual for the purchase. They didn't say anything, and I didn't think to ask.

That was the same for me. They had their regular sale signs up, like X% off clearance and X% off Snoopy items, but nothing about a tiered sale. I've never gotten one from the outlet either and I used to spend buku bucks in that place.

I'm happy with how it turned out though. At least I do have an outlet I can get to when needed, others don't necessarily have that luxury.

+1000!

What kind of bonehead idea was it to launch at one price then have them for cheaper in the store just a few days later??? What? Did they think we wouldn't find out and start taking stuff back for adjustments, no matter how they have to do it? Geeezzzz! :weird:

I spent a lot when I made my recent purchases and they didn't offer or mention any future promotions either. I am happy I actually caught the sale on time this time. Last time I didn't find out until it was almost too late and had very slim pickings.

Wow, that just opens up my whole world. Thanks! I am a casual collector, but I can see how this becomes pretty addicting. I do own a small collection of stuff. It looks like it would be very interesting to read one of their books. :)

That's what I had to do. I bought on line, then went to the outlet on the first day and bought a few more pieces, only to find out the lower prices. Then two days later get the email coupon. I brought everything back at once and believe it or not, they adjusted the whole bunch! Of course I was lucky and had a knowledgeable SA that could figure out how to adjust the transaction. I brought all my items but she did not even ask to see them. They seem to make more work for themselves and more frustration for the customers. My outlet is about a 35 minute drive, the savings were worth the short trip. Also, they had a full stock of all items, which I was surprised to see. Quite a few customers had large Coach tote bags (like shopping bags provided by Coach to put your items in while shopping) loaded with all sorts of bags, etc. I saw quite a few Snoopy items, I am sure headed for Ebay!
