Apparently only a limited number of outlets are getting the larger Bennetts. I had to do a charge send to get one from another outlet in my state. They are the same price as the totes: $179. I am glad that I resisted the urge to get one from the FOS because they were $249 on there!!

Which outlet location was this one if you don't mind me asking? I wanted a large Bennett also. :)
 
Only three people including myself at the opening, but in about 10 minutes the store had about 20 people, some not there for Peanuts. It wasn't mayhem and it was nice to check out each product in person.

The totes were definitely coated canvas but didn't look bad. The price is high at $179 each though for the material.

The wristlet, long wallet, cosmetic case, and small crossbody all have great leather. I wouldn't be surprised if these were really calf, very soft and high quality.

There were a three per-item limit at the store. Ordered a wristlet, cosmetic case, and crossbody online and will bring the receipt back to see if I can do a price adjustment. Both the wristlet and cosmetic case were $39 and the crossbody was $69 each.
 
Mine is being shipped from Barstow, California. Any oulet that did not get the larger one should be able to locate one nearby and do a charge send.

I was in the store earlier today and they didn't mention a charge send could been done, as they didn't have the large bennetts. Can I call the other outlet myself or do I have to contact my local one? I haven't done this before. Thanks.
 
I have never done a charge send either. They know me at my outlet and know that I had my heart set on that exact one. If I am not mistaken you have to initiate it through your local store because they have to call the other store and fill out a special form. I did have to pay for the shipping cost also. Also, it might be up to the discretion of an outlet whether or not they want to do a charge send. I could be wrong, someone correct me if I am.

Yes, it must be done in the store. Call the store that has the item first and have them put it on hold for you. The local store will fill out the form and take and imprint of your credit card. They fax the form to the store that is holding your item, that store charges the card and sends you an email receipt. Ground shipping is $10, expedited is $17.50 and I think next day shipping may be $30.
 
Just left my outlet. They have a one item per type limit i.e. one wristlet, one wallet. You can't buy two of the same items even if they are of different colors. The good news was that they told me I have a 25% off coupon based on what I spent.

The SA also told me that they have been given direction not to process any charge sends for the collection. But she said she would process the full line stuff I have on hold at Woodbury Commons since I placed it on hold yesterday and the directive just came out today.

She also said some stores were wiped out. Did anybody see this?

I don't understand the price differences from the on line event and the in store items. Why would they price them differently just a few weeks apart and make people buy them on line only to find them cheaper at the stores? Then people have to figure out how to make an adjustment, more work and confusion!
 
Also, at the outlet I went to this morning the manager told me the totes were leather! There was a three item limit if you tried to buy three of the same thing. Also, after I purchased my black tote, wallet, wristlet and cosmetic I did not get a 25% off coupon. It seems every store runs differently. Also, while I was standing at the register to pay a girl was adding items to a glass drawer type display case that was right in front of me and at waist height. Instead of waiting for me to finish my transaction, she pulls the drawer out and it practically hits me in the stomach! Then says excuse me to make me move so she can finish putting wallets in the drawer!! UGH, whatever happened to customer service and sales associates that know their products. The manager had no idea that Coach on line already sold out of these items then told me the totes were leather! Oh well, I still had a fun time looking at all those adorable Snoopy bags and love my little collection. Just had to vent! Thank you

I got the same things you did plus the two key chains. Maybe that put me over the limit?

I'm still on the fence about the tote. Love the cute print but don't care for the material.

The SA at my store knew both bags are not made of leather though. I wonder if there will be a lot of eBay claims made now.

Quite a few on the shelf at my outlet had scratches and marks. One black tote had a very noticeable and long scratch. When I asked the manager if he had any in the back he told me if you want a perfect bag you won't find one, this is leather! I showed him the badly scratched tote and told him I certainly wouldn't buy this. He didn't even take it off the sales floor!
