I am amazed (not really though) at all of the FOS items already listed on eBay and the prices they are listed for. $89, $98 and $125 for $25 bag charms. Wow!

Exactly!!! And several items have already sold.

I live in Mississippi, my order shipped early yesterday morning and I won't get it until Monday. What do they do, string buyers along until they finally get it? Then there's the chance that it will be less than perfect. I can't see all resellers that jump the listing gun paying extra for overnight shipping, assuming FOS even offers it.....I've never paid any attention to shipping options.

And I don't understand the buyers either. I know a lot of them don't have a clue there's a difference between FP and outlet. Or that they can also sign up for the FOS sale or go to an outlet to purchase stuff themselves. But, why in the heck would you bid or buy something from a stock photo only? They are buying sight unseen because they are purchasing from a stock photo. I won't bother with an auction if there's no photos of the actual item I'm buying.

all I can do is SMH....also - this forum is where the resellers get all their UPDATED information.....if you look at who is online on TPF -MOST I have NEVER seen post before - again SMH

Good points on the chalk color...thanks for helping not feel so bad about missing out on them:smile1:

Don't think of it as missing out, think of it as making the right choice of items that work for you and not wasting money on the others. :smile1: I skipped the cosmetic bags because, while they are really cute, I'd never use them. I prefer my makeup bags to be washable because just by nature they can get messy. I also don't have another use for that particular style, so for me the wristlets were a better choice of small item.

. Well if someone from Coach is listening...how about a coin purse, an umbrella, a watch and a scarf...LOL!

YES!!! I'll second (or third or fourth or however many votes we're into this now) this. A coin purse has been my #1 want since the 1st release. Our lovely bags need matching coin purses. I also would love to see a smaller (read: not as long as the accordion) wallet that would fit easily in the smaller Peanuts bags. I'll be using a wristlet for my mini Surrey, but a wallet would be my preference.

Does anyone else here think that the 3rd release has better items than the 2nd Release? I sure do and I think it's because I prefer the sketch designs better.

Definitely. I liked the silhouette, but love these. Since they're basically the 1st release all over again with the addition of the gift box art, it's a great idea on their part to appease Snoopy fans who got shut out of that botched 1st FP release.

I think sellers are allowed to offer pre-release listings so long as they can deliver within a certain timeframe. If they also have a longer stated handling time then buyers are told upfront they won't be getting it fast. I also doubt that the average ebay buyer is seeking the same flawlessness in an item that the average TPFer is.

Some people have more money than patience, I think. I saw those bag charms weeks ago but knew if I waited for them to be released I could get 2 for the cost of one in that eBay listing. Some people actually believe what they're reading in an eBay listing (I love those RARE! HTF! listings that are but one of a dozen identical listings). Most don't research, they just hit that buy button.

I've purchased some cheap things from a stock photo (usually gift-with-purchase things) where I knew the items came in a sealed bag and a true photo would be impractical. And we're talking less than $20. For something more expensive, especially a collectible, clothing or fashion item, I want a real photo.

I'm amused by a couple of listings that used screenshots of the stock photos. I guess someone doesn't know how to do the "save image as" or "download image" in order to avoid having that moire pattern on the photos. I think some of the buyers are overseas with no other options of getting these things.

I'll decide after I see them in person. But I was very happy with the 2nd release. The leather was VERY nice. And while at first sight, I thought the silhouette was a little bland, I later felt it was much more subtle & appropriate for a bag that I could carry to the office.

OH NOO!!! I didn't get the red tote because my husband really wanted to get it for me for V-Day. Well, he just texted that they sold out before he could get it!!!! He says he's checking ebay, so that let's me know that he's not pulling my leg and that he really didn't get it!!!

I think one reason people may buy on ebay is that they cannot get into the FOS. I myself have NEVER been able to; not just for Snoopy either. I have reset my password, checked my spam folders, and updated in person at the Coach outlet. I do not get the emails, and also I cannot just log in and shop.

I am hoping that the outlet near me gets some pieces. I would not want to buy on ebay because of the markup, but if I was going to buy on ebay, I would buy knowing that the outlet price would have been marked down by half.

I think listing with stock photos is just crazy.

Every item I purchased is sold out. Glad I didn't hesitate. Those Bennets don't seem to be going anywhere fast though.

The mini Bennet in saddle is what I want, but I wanted to see it in person first. Are they at the outlets, and is there any word on how they are selling there? I am going to one tomorrow night, and I am trying to decide if I should call and ask them to hold one for me.
