SO jealous, that is such an awesome collection. The duffles are hard they are so big IMO.. i could never carry one. To bad you couldn't snag a mini version.

Thanks! Coach really did a good job on this line. I did get a mini Bleecker when they first came out (in blue, the yellow was just too green) and I do like that one. I knew this one would be larger but not THAT large. Eeek! I love the white Snoopy on the black leather, but I guess it's just not meant to be.

:woohoo: Santa stopped by early! He looked just like an UPS guy :santawave:

My PCE Snoopy order arrived! I do love the saddle Taxi Tote, but decided that the Bleecker duffle is just too big. It's tempting to keep it because it's Snoopy and it's on sale, but I really REALLY don't need a bag I'd not use other than to look at. I already packed it back away to return so I'd not talk myself into keeping it.

Saddle Taxi Tote is da bomb, though! I love the zip closure and wish the others had that feature. It does seem to be the middle-sized tote, though it is pretty close to the 24. For storage, the 24 nests nicely (upside down) inside this one, so I can keep all the totes in one box. That's a huge bonus because, urgh, space! KWIM? :D

So glad you like the saddle taxi. I was worried we may have built it up too much!

And yes, I know what you mean about running out of space for collectibles! 🤓

It definitely lived up to its reputation. It's a great size and the leather is very, very nice. I am going to have serious space issues if they do another release.

Stardustgirl-you seem to have the most information, so let me ask you- I called JAX the other day to find some Peanuts items, and as I read the style numbers, they guy kept saying there were some coming out later but not available now. Do you think there could be another release? It does not make sense that they would reuse style numbers does it?

I was thinking he was confused, because there has been misinformation before from the phone reps.

Around next Monday, there is supposedly a sale starting in several stages involving older styles; possibly that's what the associate was talking about? In any case, I would call back to speak with another representative, since depending on the person the answers could be night and day. 3 people from JAX insisted that the saddle bag can't be purchased, let alone with discount, but I talked to my SA and she ordered it for me today. Go figure!

Thanks lovingmybags, glad you were able to get the saddle-is that the Taxi tote?

I am very interested in this sale, I can't wait to see what they put out.

Hi, I was able to get the anniversary Saddle bag 35 :smile1:. When it was released, it was excluded from all promotions. I would get the Peanuts taxi tote, except I already bought one back in June when it debuted ;)

I think he may be confused too. If inventory is showing zero, it's probably for items that have come and gone. Apparently you can still see some older items but they also show zero stock available. If he isn't familiar with the Peanuts line, he won't know they're old. They did reuse some style numbers (the black / white Snoopy fobs come to mind).

If you can find a helpful SA, it'll go a long way toward helping you find what you're looking for. PM me if you'd like the contact info for mine. Or call JAX back and hope for someone who knows more. Sometimes it takes a few calls.

RE - the sale in stages w/older styles... could that be a SAS event done like the factory outlet sales where they have themed "events" that last a couple of days, then another set of "events" is up for sale? Or maybe it's another factory online sale?

No idea what it's going to be like, since that'll be the first time Coach is doing it; however, at the very least it should be from FP, not factory.

I really do not need any more Snoopy-but I would like to get a blue Taxi, since I did send mine back and kept the black 28. Now I miss the bright blue.

OMG OMG OMG!! NEW STUFF!!! :woot: :panic:

I hope that link works. It's for Instagram. Coach posted that their new Vintage line is launching exclusively at Colette, and they're showing Peanuts patches on the bags!!

yeah, the bags are up on coach-paris. they are amazingly tacky, for over 1000$Euro apiece! terrible way to use vintage bags imho. but maybe the parisians will go for it.

The ad copy says
"To mark the celebration of their upcoming 75th anniversary year, Coach, the famous American brand announces the exclusive launch of Coach Vintage at colette. The project sees the American design house revisiting its archives, sourcing rare and highly sought after original Coach vintage bags from the 1970’s and 1980’s. These bags have been collected from across the United States, authenticated and lovingly restored by Coach artisans and playfully customized with vintage Snoopy fabric patches. Each piece is unique.
To these bags are added, in limited edition, varsity jackets in wool and lambskin also customized with vintage Snoopy patches."

So basically they hit thrift stores across the US, did a rehab not unlike our handy Rehab and Rescue members, put some vintage Peanuts patches on them, and said "hmmmm $1000 ought to do it". And no two are alike? If I score an old Coach bag at a Goodwill, I'm good to go. I have a *lot* of vintage Peanuts patches (I recognized a number of them while looking at the bags on Colette).

I will give them a thumbs up for creativity. If Vevers is still pursuing that American Icon theme, he's got it here for sure, and with the genuine articles, not repros. That said, I wonder what distinguishes these from a DIY bag? Surely the creed must say something about it.
