Oh my! Well, the Brandy raw bucket in large, that I had ordered before I had gotten any of the MG bags back in July.

Then I ordered the black raw mini backpack in tumbled leather. I think they are shipping them together from the store.

Ugh! I'm going to have to make some decisions this week on what stays.

I'm trying to think which colors and leathers are going to be best for upcoming rainy El Niño weather:)

I do have my Chamberlains milk sitting here....

So exciting. Can't wait to see what you think.

thanks for the update! May i ask if you also ordered the lady bag? btw i checked their stock level when i placed the order and there were "2 units left" after my order processed... really hope this isn't a fluke and that they do indeed have it in stock and didn't sell it on the floor :(

I also purchased a lady bag, but in brandy avion! When I purchased, they had 2 left in stock as well

so my nightmare came true :yucky:

they sold them on the floor and didn't realize they had to mail them out... i'm livid!! :pullhair: they canceled my order. ugh. and i live in NYC too.

Me too... I had preordered my dreamy cammello/rosa mini :( and they even sent me a tracking number!!!!! (It was canceled)

It's unbelievable how disorganized BG is. Barneys is much more organized and better than BG with stock.

When I called BG they even told me, it's not surprising to me [BG customer care associate] that orders get cancelled because there is a communication gap between the online website and the physical shipping team. Apparently, the problem is more wide spread and affects the sales persons/merchandising as well.

oh no!!!!

i am truly sorry to hear this. i was hoping that BG got their act together for good and that everyone here would get the bags they ordered.

i hope you both can get your lady bags through another store or directly from MG during the next release. i know it sucks to have to spend more time tracking this down (again).

I dread using their e-store... I scouted it out during the last release. I was maybe 1-2 minutes late and already the lady bags and mini buckets were gone (my color combos)!!

Oh well, maybe elsewhere. Was anyone able to snag a brandy/brick lady from Shopsuperstreet? I had my eye on that combo and settled for the Brandy/Avion lady instead.

i can understand the dread. it's so weird how disorganized they are with their MG orders. excluding my MG purchases from them, i've never had any issues with getting my web orders fulfilled by them.

just to be a bit paranoid here: since these bags are coming directly from the stores, i wonder if the sales people are knowingly selling these bags in store to get their commission even though they are already spoken for from the web orders. given that all of these were pre-orders, i can not imagine that BG web didn't transfer the order information to the store well ahead of time. with that said, i wonder if it's better to just call the BG store directly next time (if there is a next time) and order through an associate.

i will likely continue to place pre-orders with BG as a backup, and hope to make purchases directly from the MG site and other retailers like NAP.

(*sigh* such a PITA, BG)

as for the branday/brick lady, i've only seen it available online in the shopsuperstreet. did you inquire with MG whether they will sell this online in the next release?

I actually tried to call the store yesterday to see what they actually sent me . When I asked for the MG dept on the fifth floor they said I had to order online. So even though they shipped me something there was no one who could talk to me about their stock.
It's a strange way to do business for sure!

^ does that mean that people who do not have access to the physical store can not order MG bags directly from a sales associate over the phone? if that is true, then indeed it is a strange way to do business. i now wonder if this applies to all their merchandise or if this is only for the MG items.

I don't know. It was frustrating because I wanted to see which of my two items they had shipped. One from July and one from last week.
