Hellloooooooooooo....

How about the original Madison line, you know three Madison lines ago. This line was released in the mid 90's, and crazy expensive for Coach at the time because they were produced in Italy. These bag didn't look like typical Coach, but were classic bag styles.

I lucked out somewhat recently and scored a Ergo Tote in black leather with the legacy lining. I had wanted it FOREVER, and actually had one that was stolen from my front porch after delivery. It took me FOREVER to find the bag again..but I did and I LOVE IT!!!

xxx
please do not ever mention selling.

I hate to say this (and it's NOT always th case) but I can't believe what some of these legacy bags are now going for. I sold my cousin my walnut shoulder bag for the exact amt I paid for it. Ofcourse that's family so there's the case with that. The thing is though, that when I sold my LEIGH I actually sold it for a VERY FAIR PRICE and still put a little money in my pocket...but my JOY with that sale came from giving the buyer a bag she had been hunting for in the right price range forever!!!

I know that everyone wants to make some $$$ on their bags, and HEY that's A-OK with me. I just wish some of the true COACH lovers would kinda share the love when it comes to a bag that someone has been hunting and stalking. I had it done to me....I did it for 2 OTHER'S! Kind of a pay it forward kinda thing! KWIM?!

There's gotta be a better way for all of us to hunt and score the bags we crave then prices that get jacked up on the bay by "fair wheather" Coachies.

Anyone else feel this way??? Not to be a Debbie Downer, I guess I just wish that those who have loved and stalked a bag for a year (if not longer) could catch a break!!! Like the breaks I've given others!!! Not to bash newer Coach addicts, but it seems like with every new Coach fan...the HG's that some of us have had and stalked for months and in some cases years get further away because when these newer fan's see that it's so many people's *HG* they make it there's too!!!!
Going from stumbling into an outlet and buying nothing but MFF signature bags (nothing wrong with those...I own/have owned some) to wanting a Mandy within 2 weeks. I feel like their due's haven't been paid. Anyone know what I mean??? I know I sound like I'm coming off with a nasty attitude and that's SO not my point. I'm having a hard time articulating this, so please don't ANYONE be offended!!!!!

I just feel like ALOT of us have put in alot of time loving these bags, and now we can't get them used for much less then what the original MSRP was!!!

So, to brighten this UP, here's my Ergo tote that I LOVE!!!

Ohh, I really like that bean bag Fob of yours Bunny!
I have one of the mini skinnys in red but, I found it at goodwill in not so good shape. It is missing the clip and the leather was in rough shape. I think I paid $3 for it. I've conditioned it but, it's still a little discolored. Here's a pic of mine along with the red leather case that my mom gave me a long time ago, it originally housed a mirror but, I don't have the mirror, I use it for my ID and Debit card...

Bunny, you are a wealth of knowledge! Thank you for sharing your pics and information!

Lovecoachmore, I know what you mean about charging way too much for bags when they can charge more than what they paid without taking advantage. It isn't right. Especially when most people who do this are just resellers and not true collectors/lovers of Coach.

Thanks Bunny! I've always wondered what the mirror that originally came with it looked like.

This is a totally great idea.. I just love the older bags and love sharing them... Here are some of mine there and some I do not have yet but I digress.

The first one is a fob, I know, it is older and it is a Wilis Bag Fob

I also have a true love of Bleeker, Garcia Leather, Leagacy Leather, Tattersall and Legacy Stripe. I know I am not alone in this but here are some of mine.

The funny thing is that I did not even know these lovely mataerals until I joined tPF.:D
