Speaking of oldies but GOODIES. I just scored my absolute DREAM BAG!!!

Thanks to a VERY KIND seller who is allowing me to pay the balance over a 2 week period (just 2 payments) I will have my new beauty by the beginning of October!!!

I've always loved the old legacy and many pieces have been thru my hands. I could SMACK myself for some of the pieces I've let go. Gigi, Leigh and the 07' shoulder bag. The Gigi was too BIG, the Leigh just a hint too small...and the shoulder bag was also too small. I truly hope this one is JUST RIGHT!!! Even if she's just a tad small, I've learned my lesson and will NEVER EVER let her go.

Here's a pic to tide both all of you and ME over...because of the payments this will be a longer wait then usual, but OOOOHHHH sooooo worth it!!!

I just stumbled onto this thread - I too have been on this forum off and on with out commenting but it is nice to know others enjoy the coach product as much as me.

My favorite is anything legacy - mainly due to the larger/thicker straps makes it easier for me to carry and the bleeker line is great also. Currently, Zoe is my new legacy

I love the first one. It looks like an old bowling bag.

The ones with the lining are great too. I've never seen those.

OMG! thanks Baglady I feel like I just walked in to a family/school reunion. You are my people!!!!

Does anybody remember when there was nothing but thick, butterly leather that had no lining and was just the rough sueded side on the inside of the bag? Ah yes, those were the days.

I had a huge tan duffle bag that my mom found in a parking lot that someone had used in a bank robbery (true story) that I carried all through high school and college and then gave to my niece who then did the same. That bag is easily 20 years old and it still looks great. Coach bags used to last forever. Not knocking the ones we have now but oh man, to see them was a thing of beauty.

Pic's of my whiskey Ali that I haven't posted in awhile. My mom carried her for awhile, then she had to be shipped off to JAX. They couldn't repair her...but I'm getting her back with a 40% OFF coupon that will enable me to fill the lack of berry color in my collection!!! I also think these totes in the chocolate/bronze and black/gunmetal were GREAT!!! Some of the earlier signature pieces tend to have a richer feel and more class IMO.

Question for you legacy girls..... I have been looking at the Coach legacy Satchel and was curious if you could give me an approximatimation of size compaired to the shoulder bag....how much heavier/bigger is the satchel? I am confortable with the shoulder bag size so I am wondering if it will be largly too big.....

BUT, I am really hoping to locate one in POND.....THey seem to range all over in price too from 180 to about 400.....
