It's definitely NOT cold enough to wear my Uggs yet, but I wanted to try them on with Ali so I could see how they look together! I took Ali to work today, and it wasn't supposed to rain, but it ended up pouring all afternoon and evening, so I had to put her away to run errands tonight.

Thank you T-Girl! I agree, I was pleasantly surprised when I got her to see how rich and beautiful the whiskey leather is! She is definitely used condition, but I don't mind. With a bag like this I think it just adds to the charm.

New to the forum and excited to be among like minded individuals:D
I'm a vintage leather fan...:woohoo:
I loved the Ergo, Legacy & Bleeker lines that Coach had a few years ago.
To me those purses aren't dated and it is a look that can transcend time. Also, I found that those purses worked well with both professional & casual attire.
I wish Coach would bring them back! If they can keep some of the originals alive, I think they could do the same for these lines, too. Every now and then I breakout my Willis or Bucket bag and still get the hi-5s from friends. I have a Backpack that is probably close to 10 years old that I use when I travel. Forks always stop me all the time asking where did I purchase it. That Backpack I must confess was my best purchase thus far!

Glad to have you here, you are with "family" in the sense we love what you love too!

Are you kidding me? This Hippie looks in pristine condition. The leather just oozes warm caramel sweetness.

I luv this thread. I had put away the last of my coach because i was just not feeling anything from recent lines ( plus with schedule & traveling KS tote is beyond pratical and I wear it so much people must think it is my only bag lol) but two days ago i brought out my classic signature katylens and hamptons signature swingpack from 06 . i forgot how pratical this bag was. I would of really wanted a signature gunmetal multifunction tote and one those reversable signature stripe totes that said "this is a coach bag handcrafted.." although this purse would of cost more than some peoples car or same as MY BF truck lol I will never forget picking up that alligator satchel tote with buckle flap at the store on bleecker. I really luved that bag. All though no way in world could of bought it. but i really wanted it.

OMG! thanks Baglady I feel like I just walked in to a family/school reunion. You are my people!!!!

Does anybody remember when there was nothing but thick, butterly leather that had no lining and was just the rough sueded side on the inside of the bag? Ah yes, those were the days.

I had a huge tan duffle bag that my mom found in a parking lot that someone had used in a bank robbery (true story) that I carried all through high school and college and then gave to my niece who then did the same. That bag is easily 20 years old and it still looks great. Coach bags used to last forever. Not knocking the ones we have now but oh man, to see them was a thing of beauty.

I pulled out a few of my older Coach. I don't even remember the names of these, but I liked how different, at the time, they were. Anyone remember these?

And, I was told, at the outlet (maybe 8-10 years ago???) that these were the first Coach bags made with lining. Anyone know anything about this???

Oh my I have an old bucket bag too in dark navy. It was my first ever Coach bag. Funny I haven't carried in a long time. This thread is making me want to dig up my older collection of bags for a photo op. I get a kick out of reading the creeds on all of them when it says it was made in the United States. Quite different from now with them reading made in China.
