Yes ladies, the unthinkable has happened...a bird pooped on my Speedy
Fortunately (as if there is a silver lining in this?!!?), the poop only 'grazed' the side of my bag, and I only have 3 small spots where the bird poop landed.
I was on my way to work, and so I was only able to wipe off the poop with handsoap and paper towels once I got there 40 min later. I was cringing when I wiped it off, because I felt as if I was actually 'spreading' the poop around. AHHH!!
There are no signs of the poop left on my bag, but I'm still hesitant to use it due to the health hazards associated with bird droppings. I want to wipe down the area where the poop was with an alcohol wipe to disinfect it, but don't know what the consequences will be on my bag.
So ladies, given my situation...what would you do? Alcohol wipe, or no? If not, then what else would you recommend to disinfect it?
Keep in mind that it's a Damier Speedy, so it's a lot less 'sensitive' than the mono canvas ones...
