A bag for my mum! Any suggestions??

Hello Everyone,

I will be going to China and Hong Kong in early August and would like to spoil my mum with a designer bag. I have been to the boutiques in Sydney, Aust but have been unable to find any suitable. These are the features that I am looking for:

- Mature (suitable for someone in their 50's);
- Classic (not a trend/IT bag);
- Straps must be long enough so that the bag can be carried on the shoulders;
- Big enough to carry wallet, phone, tissues, glasses.

I am willing to spend up to AUD$1,000 (USD$730).

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

P.S. I have my eye on this Prada bag. It's retailing for AUD$1,800 (USD$1,315). Hopefully, I can get it cheaper overseas.

Wish you were here now cuz most of the designer shops are at least 30% off. I would recommend you to get a LV bag for your mom (more styles to choose + cheaper in HK).
HK is a great shopping place

A LV is always a good classic. Or Tod's or Celine. Check the legit sites for good deals.
