Hello! I am deciding between the navy oblique and ecru (off-white with grained calfskin)! Planning to wear it with my spring/summer outfits (blush, whites, denim, pastels) I think both colors could also be worn year round but let me know your thoughts! My outfits tend to be pretty simple (no crazy patterns really). Would also want to use it as a clutch for evening events

My biggest worry is that the ecru color will yellow over time and I am scared to wear it with denim, although I think i could easily get it out since it is grained leather, but I am not sure. I was also looking at the cloud blue but am nervous about the durability of the box calfskin leather. Thanks in advance!

In my opinion the Ecru requires extra care. But it matches better for spring outfit. Navy Oblique matches denim nicely and requires less care. Just follow your heart I think you would find Ecru better matching your outfit.

I love this bag but I'm concerned about the ease of the closure

Is pretty easy to close. Just press the buckle but the internal buckle can be easily scratched if u don't mind scratches. Anyway many protective stickers sold online if u wanted to protect the hardware from scratches.

Myself a big fan of ecru, it escalated the beauty of the bags!! I know is delicate and I can live without denim when using this bag.

Super easy to open and close in my opinion I have no issues at all and also own it in box leather - no scratches around the closures from my nails. Its ease of use is the reason I use it that often.

I vouch for this, very easy to open and close..I would think much more easier than Chanel reissue buckle!

Hello Montaigne club! I am hoping to buy my first Dior bag this weekend and leaning towards the 30 Montaigne. I was curious if it's a comfortable cross body in leather? I am also interested in the burgundy oblique but not sure it would be that great of a fit for my wardrobe so trying to be more practical here. For reference, have and love the Chanel medium flap and coco handle in small, and both are great but leave much to be desired in the way of cross body. I'm a 5'4" for reference, if it seems to make a difference.
