i will get more pics of this.
if it turns out the turnkey is indeed bent, does that mean the turnkey will not allow the bag to be closed properly or securely?
i did read that jane often lacks info in her listings, is there anything else that should be queried with regards to the listing?
i'm keen on getting this so i would like to know if i missed out noting anything else :)

I'm not an authenticator and also a new member. That said, this listing is from a lovely tpfer who I believe would not be associated with a fake under any circumstances. I have bought a couple of things from her (not a bag yet), and would not hesitate to buy the right bag if she was selling it. I find her pricing is very fair.

This is a real issue, and it is one that should lower the price of the bag. Hardware can be replaced by Hermes, but it is time-consuming and comes at a cost. At the very least you should find out what the cost of this would be and factor it into the price. I would not enjoy a bag with a bent turnkey and I would expect some real price negotiations with the seller.

Yes, modaluxury.com is the company I was locked in battle with over selling fakes. I'd purchased some bags from them years ago when they went under another name. When I realized the bags were fake they flatly denied it and refused the refund alledgedly offered if their bags weren't authentic. I contacted the NY State Attorney General's Office who ultimately made Am X refund my money. I sent said bags to American Express who did an investigation and shortly thereafter the counterfeiters closed up their website and opened up under another name, modaluxury. Stay far far away!!!
