Item: 100%AUTH!!! Hermes Kelly 32cm gray handbag gab great

Listing number: 230448748567

Seller: ricktaylor_22

Comments: What color do you think this bag is? My own gris tourterelle clemence Kelly has black resin, this has brown. Obviously there are concerns about the seller based on lack of feedback etc., but I am interested to know what the color is, could it be gris clair? I do not think etoupe since nobody could call that gray!

Hunting for my reading glasses so I can actually see the bag (!) but do you see that the seller has a feedback score of ONE...and that item sold for 21 cents...

I think it's supposed to be etoupe and the lighter color in some of the pics is due to poor lighting and poor photos. I have no idea if it's authentic. Kellys are not my thing. Doubt the pics are sufficient for the authenticators though.

IL, I think you are right. Looking at some of the pictures I see the sandy undertones typical of etoupe.

Whenever I see a bag offered by someone with such low feedback, I tend to shy away even if the images are impeccable. Without any way to assess seller history, and to be able to review their customer service history and their Hermes knowledge, there is no real assurance that the bag shown in the images is actually in their possession.

I have had another close look at these photos and I have come to the conclusion based on the stitching that it is fake anyway.

Thank you for your views.

Well spotted!.. but Its possible that the bag was sold to the reseller in Indonesia.

in which case, the bag probably authentic... just need to be sure its one and the same bag not just stolen photos.

There is a huge demand for authentic bags in Indonesia, a lot of resellers buy from reputable eBay members to sell locally.

Hi

The pictures of this Birkin are stolen from reputable eBay seller the_finshing_touches so I would run away quickly.

several of the bags on that site are counterfeits, and other photos have been lifted from createurs de luxe.

The Birkin shown in pictures watermarked the_finishing_touches, and sold by the same via eBay, is authentic. If, and that is a big if, the seller in Indonesia did purchase the Birkin from this eBay seller they need to at the very least take their own pictures of the Birkin when they list it. This is not the performance of a reputable seller. It is not ethical to reuse pictures from another, even if the original, source. Sellers need to photograph the item which they are in possession of. I do not want the original poster thinking that this certainly the same Birkin, and in the possession of the seller, and it's all okay to proceed and end up with zero. It is not.

Exactly. A buyer has no way of knowing if the bag has been dragged on gravel or been in a fire! New pix are a must.

On the whole, I would not hold out any hopes that this is a reputable auction. The pix were stolen; an unfortunate, but common occurrence.
