She has sold some Authentic H blankets b4 however when I contacted the other seller she sold a bag to they said the had no idea it it was authentic or not they bc they have never had it checked out.

_ Just wondering if anyone has ever seen a fake/replica passe passe bag b4 ??????

I did not ask b4 sending the offer because ... I was told that people have asked about an item, they are told that it's authentic and then another person from the site not a Pro... will read the site see that its authentic (Exp. if the price is low) and then try to out bid you for the item. Its rare to find Authentic H's with low price tags so when u do why announce it ?

I have found this to be true as well, It's a fine line between being diligent in your research and letting the cat out of the bag.
Thou I would rather let a good deal go then wind up with a knock off for $800.

buyers should not purchase or make an offer unless they intend to make payment ~ it is unfair to sellers to end their listings via an offer/purchase and only then proceed to investigate issues of authenticity and determine whether or not to go through with the purchase.

I totally agree ! however if I offer or purchase I always pay .... Its just a question of if im going to return the item or keep it.

Barbie, I understand your point about an item being stolen from under you, but that is what can happen. However, as Muslickz points out, it is much better than be stuck with a knockoff and the aggravation of having to return it etc. You are also taking a chance that someone on this thread is around to help and help you in a timely fashion.

Personally, I am not a fan of shot-gun requests.

Im sorry for not asking before hand and I now see why it would have been best to do so. It some one could please lend me some knowledge on this type of bag that would be wonderful.....I was also wondering if any of the Pro's have ever seen a fake in this style ????

I understans and am sorry...I am pretty new to this site and was just taking the advice of a frequent poster ...However, I now understand why this was not very good advice and I will no longer be doing such.

I am very sorry. I am still learning thus greatly need and praise your advice and wisdom.

I havae not seen a fake passe passe, but that doesnt mean they are not out there. This one appears authentic however.
