Verdigris is the name for oxidation on brass, copper and bronze, similar to rust on iron. It's the surface patina one sees on some church domes. The chemicals in plastic or glue can react with metal after being in contact with it for a while. Heat and moisture can act as catalysts and speed up the process.

This seller has no prior history of selling authentic Hermes bags - the photos in the auction are of two different bags and the smaller pics are taken from someone elses auction and an entirely different bag, not the so called Rouge H bag - I do not believe the seller has an authentic bag for sale nor the pictures of their bag are authentic .... purchase at your peril.
