Hello everyone, I need help from this following :)
(My husband actually bought it already, I am not sure if he has made a huge mistake)

Item: Birkin 35 Rose Dragee Swift
Listing number: 230439764915
Seller: Achimnelly
Link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230439764915&ssPageName=ADME:B:BOC:US:1123

Thank you and much appreciated!!

I'm sorry, but I do not think this is authentic. This bag is available and can be seen on numerous sites that sell fake bags. This exact bag with the same blind stamps on the strap amongst other features. If there are any other opinions, I welcome them.

The second and third bag do not look good to me............. definitely the third one...........;)

I'm curious to know why the CITES is showing 2007 as the date of manufacture, with 2006 as the date of importation of the skin, but the bag is an L stamp.
The manufacture date could be when the skin went into inventory at H, no?.
No, I think date of inventory would not be shown, as they seem to differentiate between the skin arriving somewhere and actual manufacture.

This paper is not a Cites, as we commonly understand it. It is not the Cites permit for the bag.

It is a copy of a corporate certificate of sale of skins between Gordon and Hermes, with all tracking numbers on it.
It only means that this bag was made of skins that were part of the lot tracked by those tracking numbers.
It is meant to help the people in Hermes store to fill the actual Cites permit for the bag, because they would need those tracking numbers.

This paper is showing 2007 as the date of skins beeing sold to Hermes Sellier by Gordon Choisy.
2006 was the year of skins beeing released from Papouasie-New Guinea, and then Japan (...to France) with all tracking numbers of the pack of skins.

There is no mention of date of manufacture of the bag, at all.

Besides, unlike the seller states in their ebay description, this certificate DOES NOT provide any information as for what raise the skins come from.

General comment :
This piece of paper would not help for crossing any border with that bag.
It is not the Cites permit of re-exportation for the bag.

Here is again the link to that listing : http://cgi.ebay.com/Hermes-Birkin-B...H_Handbags?hash=item2c535f9491#ht_1303wt_1128

Good morning,

this is achimnelly from Malleries and eBay.com (same user ID). This is one of the rare moments and times that I have to clearify a "situation" here at the purse forum.

The Birkin 35, rose dragee in Swift leather was purchased by myself at an Hermès boutique in Germany (original purchase receipt is here with me). To make a long story short, this bag is as authentic, as ALL of my items I list and sell on eBay or Malleries. There is no way that I would sell a fake item punto.com!

A lose stitch (I wasn't even aware of this, because the bag was never used), but that can even happen with the most luxurious and (in my opinion) best purse manufactorer in the world: Hermès and of course that can be fixed easily at the Hermès boutique.

peggyplaw, PLEASE take the bag to your local Hermès store and this questioning if real or not will end right there:-)))

I understand how frustrating this situation must be for you, but I can assure you, that the bag you have at home is 100% guaranteed to be authentic.

@gracekelly: It would be great if you could pm me the side where they use pictures from my bag (as you said it's identical), so I can take legal action against them.

Kind regards,

Achim

A bit OT but i wasn't sure where to post. Are princesspurse and peggyplaw talking about the same Rose Dragee Birkin? Both said their DHs bought the bag/s from achimnelly. Or are they the same person? Sorry if it is in the wrong thread.

ms piggy- i think achimnelly just used 'peggy' as the OP in the other thread is peggyplaw.

Not affiliated with achimnelly btw. Just an avid lurker of his/her goodies.

Hello,

it's him:-)))

The one who purchased the bag from me is tpf member ID: peggyplaw, but I believe tpf ID princesspurse and peggyplaw must be the same person, as they refer to the same bag.

BTW: The bag wasn't purchased through Malleries, the first contact was made through eBay.

Kind regards,

Achim
