It's raining here but I took it anyway...
Met the new craftsman Ramon (sp?) in Beverly Hills. He just moved from France and the former craftsman is transferred to Japan.
He was examining the bag and said he should probably also recolor the corners... And showed me the font book for different fonts for initialing (thank to Flossy for the great tip), and what fonts he could do here and what he'd have to get done in Paris.
I told him I would think about it further or carry it for awhile... He said the sooner probably the better for the corners.
So it's authentic, I presume! Yay.
The most impressive part was, when he put it back in the dust bag he said approvingly, "I really appreciate you storing it in the dust cover." Such a craftsman thing to say, like he felt so much ownership.
