So it's not even a Kelly bag, but a Birkin bag, meaning the owner doesn't know what she's selling (and I'm not an expert on Hermes bags (yet) so I wouldn't have known eithe)... and you think it's a fake? You might be right, I'll ask her for more precise pictures first. If you're wrong and this is the real deal, then I guess Santa's giving me a belated present, which isn't bad either;.. if it's real, I should probably buy it right?

Bonne soirée from my part of the globe ;)

Please look at the first post in this thread to see what pictures are required for authentication. A beat up, holes in the bottom, dragged by the bumper of a car used Birkin would still probably go for about $1500. A new one in excellent condition in a desirable colour and leather .... upwards of $7000. Easily. I'm trying to say it is EXTREMELY unlikely someone is going to sell you a brand new Birkin in excellent condition for $1000. The old line about "if it's too good to be true it probably is"? I think that's what you're looking at here, honestly. But would be happy to look at the detailed pics of the details we need. Thanks and good luck.

IF it is real? I still say no. You are not going to get a real birkin for this price. From the one picture I can see, I am not impressed.

You talk about trusting the internet. Please don't. Anyone can give you pictures of anything. As I said, this scenario repeats itself every hour, and never with a good ending. You need to stop hoping that this might still end well.

I know the internet is not exactly trustworthy, but it was on my company's inTRAnet, which is only used by colleagues;.. but still, I don't know this particular colleague so you might be right :(

There was a case several months ago where a tPF member was fired from her job because she was selling her bags on company computer. I realize that may not be quite the same as this situation, but it is food for thought. I would steer clear of this.

Hi!
Could you please help to authenticate this Hermes Kelly?
She is Hemes 32cm Kelly Epsom Gold Color with Gold Hardware. But my problem is when I' carfully investigate all detail of the bag, I am not sure with date code and zippy style inside the bag. Please look in the picture# 5,6,7 and 8.
I would greatly appreciate your help on this because I have paid for this bag but it still in guarantee from buyer for 100% money back for Authentics prove.
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi again,

I'm sorry I cannot give you any more details than the picture in attachment, had to make it much smaller to add it to this post, hopefully it's still visible!

The add was placed on our intranet, so it might actually be quite trustworthy, but you never know of course.. I'll try to add some more pictures!

Woefully inadequate photos aside, the bag pictured still gives the appearance of a fake, sadly.

Agree; authentic.

linnaja, I would wait for Perlerare to look at this. My inital reaction was that it is authentic, but a couple of items are giving me pause, so I think that she should see this.

If authentic, it is not epsom, but courchevel.
