Hello, I'm considering purchasing a new Kelly bag for the price of 1000 euros from someone who got it as a present and doesn't want it.

I don't know what the normal price would be so I wonder if it's a good deal.

It's a brand new Kelly bag, medium size, sort of camel/brown colour..
I have pictures but haven't yet found out how to attach them to this post.

I am not an authenticator, but do follow the format even if you don;t have all the info, or your request may be passed over and please note that there is a specific type of photo required for authentication (see post #1 of this thread)

It's good but very highly priced and I am surprised that Hermès did not polish the brass hardware when they cleaned it as stated by the seller. You can find much more reasonably priced 40cm HACs in this condition.

It is authentic.

Edited to mention I agree with Flossy about the price and condition, but always tend not to comment about prices. I beleive it is important the buyer does a bit of homework before making a buying decision.

you're welcome to take photos for us to look at ~ please see the first post on this thread for the list of images we need to see. however the unwanted gift bit is a classic con line and the price is much too low ~ a new kelly should be at least $5000 (and that would still be a very low price). the odds of this bag being real are infinitesimally tiny.

The add was placed on our intranet, so it might actually be quite trustworthy, but you never know of course.. I'll try to add some more pictures!

The bag shown is the Birkin style, not the Kelly. The pictures are insufficient but I would be incredibly surprised if this is authentic.

I agree with the others. The pictures are woefully inadequate. Even if they were compelling, the scenario has just been seen here far too many times. 1,000 euro price tag (oh really?), the story, the internet...

Unless the seller is named Mrs. Santa Claus and thinks you have been a perfect girl who deserves the present of a lifetime, I would be very, very nervous....
