226 in metallic black or dark silver???

Hi ladies,

Have you seen 2 colors in person? They are goregous! Can you pls help me with this decision? I like both but I can't buy both due to budget constrain I would like a bag in a color I can carry till I'm old and I'm worried about the silver will get out of style. Right now I have the following;
1. Black Luxury bowler
2. Red caviar Timeless Clutch

It seems as though quite a few Pfers have had the same dilemna as you! A lot of PFers have weighed and given their opinions on this subject already, so hopefully these two threads will help you!

I think ultimately it comes down to personal preference. I think the Metallic Black would be a more conservative choice and almost will never go out of style. I don't think the dark silver will either, but between the two, it is likelier that the dark silver will go "out of style." (although I think all chanels never go out of style! ) The dark silver is a bit more trendy, KWIM?
