My multicolor bags are all fine and still vibrant. But I store my bags in a closet where the sunlight doesn’t come in. Maybe that helps? I‘m excited to see the collection and if they are doing the microfiber lining again. I love the red interior on my whilte MC bags! 🥰
Oh yeah! I totally forgot about the lining haha
I don't own any mc (yet?) - never found a piece that made me have to have it. Plus the price gouging turned me off it completely.

i'm actually excited for this line and i do think it will translate well because streetwear and 2000's fashion has been on trend for the last few years (and i don't see it going away anytime soon).

personally, when multicolour was released, i was a child and never had the opportunity to purchase it. i will definitely be getting something! plus it's my 30th birthday this year and it's perfect timing to treat myself

If it isn't astronomically priced, I think this collection will be a huge success for the brand. Hell, even if the prices are insane, it will probably still sell. Y2K fashion is back in a big way right now, and doesn't seem to be going anywhere fast. Everyone on social media is "Jane Birkin-ing" their bags with a bunch of charms, just like we used to adorn our backpacks with keychains in school. Bella Hadid has been wearing Ed Hardy (which means it is officially back, as she is the Regina George of fashion  ). I am also a 90s kid, so bright colors and monograms appeal to me too! I believe part of the reason fashion repeatedly goes through roughly 20 year trend cycles is that the people that couldn't afford it when they first got into fashion as a teenager will now potentially be able to the second time around.
I do have some dream pieces I've created in my head that I am willing to really shell out for, should they make it to production. However, there is a limit on what I am willing to spend on a single handbag, and knowing how these new limited items have been being priced lately...I am also seeing what other MC pieces I might want to get from the secondhand market instead!

I think you are bang on! I'll be honest, the original Murakami collection is what sparked my love of LV. I still kind of want a "vintage" Murakami piece and always have my eye on whatever Fashionphile has available, so I'm super excited to see the newest collection!

Just about time to bust out the Von Dutch trucker hat and True Religion jeans. I remember wanting that White MC Speedy a la Jessica Simpson something fierce

Mattd's Instagram stories today are new levels of cringe... reposting screenshots of his Murakami 'hints' to ensure everyone is doubly aware he knew about it before. Is having d-list influencers drop hints a new guerilla marketing tactic?

I love Murakami but I'll be withholding my excitement until I actually see it. One of the things I've disliked recently is that LV goes just one step too far on everything - I'd love a return to the classic lines without a thousand things dangling off and four cloth straps etc., especially since the print is bold enough to speak for itself.

New levels are right, always cringe but always extra with any new release people are excited about. So over the constant "scolding" and looking down upon. D list is extremely generous

I, for one, appreciate Mattd, ephonix, and foxy when she was active. They don’t need to take time out of their day to share rumors and releases with us, but they do. Revealing too much too soon could compromise their sources, so I don’t think hinting at things is “cringe”
What @mrsinsyder said was reposting his old stories to make sure people know that he's in the know is cringe. Which it is. I think you've misunderstood.
 No one is making y'all follow him or watch his stories
I don't, his posts show up on my explore page like a jump scare.

Not sure why you're taking this personally it seems like, but these are just our opinions and no one is...making you read or (indirectly) respond to comments...?

Anyway I'm glad you're excited about the collection, so am I! Hope you know that opinions of others don't take away from your own and we can all enjoy LV in the ways we enjoy it!
