Can you please show me which ones you ordered
Hi. I dont have the photos on my computer - I received the white multicolor Alma. It is stunning - the only thing I wasn't thrilled with is that the fabric on the zipper pull isn't beige like on the original collection, it is flaming white, which will show dirt as the zipper goes back and forth. Otherwise it is a gorgeous bag. It is small and lightweight but I don't have to fight to get my big phone in it. And now I'm trying to get the black Superflat alma, which my CA couldn't order on 1/3.

I'm sorry to share bad news for those in the U.S. But I just heard from a very reliable CA that corporate has just communicated a new update -- orders will *not* be opening on Jan. 10 (which this CA is confirming is what had been previously communicated by corporate to CAs).

No new date has been given -- that is the entire update.
I fear the dirty little secret is that there is NO inventory.

It’s crazy how much of a difference there is between EU and US - so sorry about all of the bad experiences 🤯

I live in Denmark, did a preorder in December (DEPWO / not a VIC at all), got the LSD panda PA, cardholder and bandeau. Picked them up yesterday (decided to leave the bandeau). At the store I checked out the black MC speedy, which was available to order - and when I took a long shot today and asked her if she could put me on the waiting list for the big Panda bag charm and the white MC toiletry pouch 🤞🏼…turns out she could order both of them for me right away, as long as I was good with some waiting time on delivery 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Am I the only one who didn’t get the murakami shopping bag? They sent me this holiday bag with the lv x murakami alma bb purchase and no lv x murakami ribbons. I got the usual lv blue ribbon wrapped around the box.View attachment 6114157
Crazy thing for me I ordered the Murakami 26 toiletries pouch ( Nightmare ensued when UPS lost it and LV cs was zero help but thankfully it showed up on my doorstep ) it came tossed into a regular LV box with no cardboard inside just the invoice envelope and it was wrapped in a blue ribbon, no bag, no special ribbon, no stickers. I ordered separately a mono mm cosmetic pouch and that came wrapped in the Murakami ribbon, with the Murakami tag and a small ( sealed ) envelope with the stickers. I think they just hurling these packages out as fast as they can and there’s no rhyme or reason to what the inside packaging will be.

On Monday morning, thanks to the wonderful ppl on this forum, it was posted that LV Trainers had come back in stock on the US website. The website wasn't working but on a whim, I was able to jump on the app and get the order through in minutes. This was nothing short of miraculous given the web/app disaster with this launch.

The shoes are stunning. Cant even say enough about them.

Normally when I order directly off the web without a CA, the Southern California distribution center ships them to me. I have NEVER EVER gotten a web order in under 8 days. The order just got here in THREE DAYS.

In the past when I have ordered direct from the web, my orders ALWAYS come from that distribution center, so I was shocked to see these shoes came from my favorite LV boutique in downtown San Francisco!

The reason I am mentioning this is that it looks like US web orders are being pulled directly from store shelves, which may be further depleting inventory from the boutiques and from what CAs can access for us. Would love to hear back from others who received items ordered via web WHERE their boxes came from - a store or a distribution center.

Thank you for responding! I called CS on the 7th and they said my order could not be fulfilled and they would be canceling. Order is still showing as pending validation though…didn’t want to lose hope but sounds like it takes a while to reflect on our accounts. White pochette ordered online US 🙁
Oh no! I'm so sorry.

In the past on a number of orders LV has done this. My app/account shows the order is pending, weeks go by and then I call and find out that it has been cancelled. Three times they never even notified my CA and she was surprised too.

I still have orders for 3 bag charms that are Pending Validation. My CA said yesterday she is checking on orders she placed for her clients every single day and only one had been cancelled, but when I hear unfortunate stories like yours, I get really concerned it is just a matter of time before my orders get iced out too.

Wow, what a terrible system. I feel bad for the CA’s having to go through every order each day to check and then have to reach out and deliver bad news. I don’t know how they operate this way.

Have a lead on this from my Flagship CA. Last one she has.
Highly recommend snagging it!!! I tried one on in store and it is STUNNING.

The colors are gorgeous, the lambskin is so soft and lush and the bag pockets open so easily. It is a smaller bag, but still big enough to hold phone, wallet, keys, cosmetics and glasses. The only reason I did not buy it was because my CA said that the lambskin does crease and that it was not an everyday bag but a bag that needed lighter use. I use my LV bags everyday, even doing grocery runs, so I was worried it wouldn't hold up to my daily grind.

Yes, or they F’ed up so badly with this launch that they need more time to straighten things out. :hrmm:
I just did a full post on it, but part of the problem seems to be they are not necessarily shipping web orders from their regular distribution center, but drawing on inventory in the boutiques and having stores ship directly.
