For those of you that buy sneakers from LV, I was thinking of getting a pair. Do you use them daily or a couple times per week or just wear them on special occasions. They are not cheap as you know but I’ve never owned a luxury pair of sneakers. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I use mine to work out 🤦🏼‍♀️ my husband makes fun of me for it

I wear mine pretty frequently and they are pretty comfy. The trainers are somewhat unassuming which is cool. I probably won't wear the Murakami ones except for a VERY special occasion (if ever).

I will be returning mine. They are gorgeous but they are very heavy, stiff and supportive, with low crown on the vamp (good for narrower flatter feet) BUT wide stiff heels. I have narrow bony feet that like light cushy shoes, so shoes this stiff and heavy = instant blisters.

This is my first pair of LV shoes, or any luxury shoes/sneakers for that matter. I definitely plan on wearing them for select special outings. I don't buy luxury goods to set them on a shelf and look at them, I want to use them! With that said, I'm still not sure where exactly I'll feel comfortable enough wearing these out to for the first time. I'm looking into sole protectors and am thinking if I get those and apply them correctly, I will probably start wearing them a bit more often with less anxiety!

I’ve worn my pair about 7 times since I bought them in 2012. 🤣

I save mine for special occasions since the sole is covered with suede… dangerous to daily without ruining them. 🤣

Went to the London pop-up first thing as a walk-in, and the queue to get inside (1 in, 1 out) was only about 20 mins, likely because the opening hadn’t hit social media. Imagine it will get busy over the next few days. It took around an hour to get to see a CA. Lovely space, really friendly advisers and staff working the cafe space upstairs.

They had a wide variety of shoes, bags, scarfs/accesories, luggage and SLGs but not everything, and a few bags and SLGs only had 1-2 pieces.

I probably wouldn’t go if you’re looking for the best cakes and coffee, but the atmosphere was fun and I managed to get a couple of things from my list.

Edit: also meant to say, they’re being careful with how much packaging they’re giving. One item was fully wrapped in a TM bag, tissue, ribbon but no tag the 2nd item was regular LV packaging apart from the ribbon. They also gave one vending machine token per transaction, not per item, and were getting people to play instead of taking the tokens.

I'm sorry to share bad news for those in the U.S. But I just heard from a very reliable CA that corporate has just communicated a new update -- orders will *not* be opening on Jan. 10 (which this CA is confirming is what had been previously communicated by corporate to CAs).

No new date has been given -- that is the entire update.
When I discussed with my US store manager today, they are will take orders tomorrow (January 10th) but it will only be for shoes, jewelry, scarves, and other accessories. This does not include SLGs or handbags. They don’t know when SLGs or handbags will be orderable again if at all 🤷‍♀️

On Monday morning, thanks to the wonderful ppl on this forum, it was posted that LV Trainers had come back in stock on the US website. The website wasn't working but on a whim, I was able to jump on the app and get the order through in minutes. This was nothing short of miraculous given the web/app disaster with this launch.

The shoes are stunning. Cant even say enough about them.

Normally when I order directly off the web without a CA, the Southern California distribution center ships them to me. I have NEVER EVER gotten a web order in under 8 days. The order just got here in THREE DAYS.

In the past when I have ordered direct from the web, my orders ALWAYS come from that distribution center, so I was shocked to see these shoes came from my favorite LV boutique in downtown San Francisco!

The reason I am mentioning this is that it looks like US web orders are being pulled directly from store shelves, which may be further depleting inventory from the boutiques and from what CAs can access for us. Would love to hear back from others who received items ordered via web WHERE their boxes came from - a store or a distribution center.
