Does anyone have an item from the old and new cherry blossom collection and can confirm if there is a color difference between the two? It seems like the colors on the new cherry blossoms are more vibrant and have a purple hue to them. It looks more like a bubblegum pink.

I dug up my very first LV, a Papillon I bought in Paris 25 years ago. It’s now sitting next to my new CB Papillon! Same size, I think Papillon 30…but waaaay longer straps for shoulder carry + pink lining. My OG one is hand carry only + no lining!

Cool to know someone else likes papillon. I feel like not many people now are into this style. It’s very early 2000s and makes me feel so nostalgic!
My papillon moved into “order in prep” yesterday and I’ve been skipping around all day!! I ordered on 14/3 in EU.
It seems like the design was a bit slept on with this drop, but it was definitely my top favourite.
Yours looks so pretty on you, and it looks very special alongside the original. I love that they brought it back.

But it's okay, maybe I will skip the CB collection altogether because 20 years ago, I collected multicolor and cerise and strangely didn't even know there was a Cherry Blossom line....

I have that constantly, too. Very annoying especially if you extra stay at home. One guy never rings, but just gave my stuff to neighbors even when I am at home. I was always embarrassed to constantly have to bother my neighbors about it. We donut for each other, taking packages, but still.
I will try to put them together, if my piece comes at some point. Not sure if it is not just lightning. I remember being surprised that the cherry blossoms are so vivid after receiving my OG pieces.
This is so so gorgeous. I wish LV would make more of those pastel colored lining. I hate those loud colors they recently choose, especially that hot pink. I know many people love that, bit if you don‘t you don‘t have another choice if you love that particular piece. Imagine how fabulous an alcantara rosmary light green would be…
