2023 Wishlist

I wish everyone here will get whatever H items that they are wishing for in 2023 - I truly understand and appreciate the anxiety of waiting. I was in that position in previous years but 2022 has been such a wonderful year for me, finally! My dream BN B30 GHW finally made its appearance in March and two SOs arrived way ahead of their time (I was expecting them either in 2023 or 2024), which was great for DH as otherwise he would have to pay more if they came later.

I hope that one day I can say: I am happy and do not want anything H! But, in the meantime, my wish list for 2023:

1. B30 en desordre in Caban - it was love at first sight when I first saw this in person during my visit to the Sevres store in October. The one that I saw was in gold but after talking to my SD, we both agree that I will definitely love Caban (I was thinking of Noir at first) as I am crazy over anything dark blue from H (think bleu nuit, bleu indigo, bleu marine).
2. GP30 in Beton - this will be a great addition to the light neutrals that I have in my collection (Rose Sakura and Bleu Pale, also Etoupe). Although to be honest, I thought a brightly coloured GP30 is gorgeous as well (like Rouge Casaque) - probably in 2024!
3. Dalvy PM/MM in Rouge H - planning to visit Japan to search for one in 2023.
4. A Dogon recto verso wallet - in any dark or bright colours.

In my longlist (2023 and beyond) - a smooth Barenia B30/B35 in PHW (any colour), a Rouge H HAC 32, a Kelly Lakis, a Jay Ahr Birkin, and a Bleu Marine/Noir corduroy/swift Roulis 23.

At this point, I have beyond all the bags I "need", so it's on to fantasyland and collector's items for 2023.

Top of list: B30 or B25 in Fauve Barenia. I have been looking for these forever, but my search seems cursed - I have had the absolute worst luck with resellers (or maybe it's just that resellers feel they're in the catbird seat in this market, and don't need to be at all accommodating, or even friendly).
Then an exotic mini K, which supposedly is in the works at my boutique.
I'd also love a Birkin in black Box with PHW or maybe even GHW.
The new bi-color mini Roulis is stunning and I hope one comes my way.

I've been told a Kelly to Go en Plumes (?) is in the works as well, although I'm having second thoughts on how useful vs. fragile it is.

I would love to find a vintage Sac a Malice - Taxi, Champagne, or Jazz ideally.

And finally, a Picnic K or B would be incredible to have.

I have a stack of bags I would like to re-home to make room for these wishes

On non-bags, I'd like to complete my Passifolia set.


I am also waiting for a bag that is being re-made for me because it arrived with a defect. That one is a little frustrating, having had it for 4 weeks and now it's out of my hands indefinitely.

Really only one bag at the top of the list:
B30 in Craie Togo (no Epsom) GHW

But there are others that I would find hard to resist:

• I find ostrich appealing and would love a B25 in a light blue
• I saw a pic of a touch Birkin in vert bosphore that was simply stunning

So I took a look back at my wishlist for 2022 and none of these lovelies made it into my hands. So my wishlist for the coming year:

1. B30 in Craie GHW
2. K28 in swift GHW in bambou or some other pop of color
3. B30 touch in vert bosphore GHW

There are also various silks that I'd like to add to my collection and, dare I say it, a pair of Chypre sandals!

I feel beyond blessed because I got my ultimate wish bag this year. 2 Birkins and a Kelly later (I dearly adore but they were bought while I was waiting for the perfect blue bag), I got my dream offer: A B25 in Caban with RGHW so my wishlist is really not a must have, just a would be nice if it happened.

Mini Kelly II in Celeste or Bleu Brume with Palladium Hardware.

Roulis 23 in Gold with Gold Hardware

Picotin 22 in Natta or Craie.
