Updating after some careful consideration... I think I am more of team Birkin vs team Kelly because of the closure. I have had bags with similar closure and yeah it has honestly bothered me. I would be bothered having to get in and out of it. I do appreciate the Kelly strap though. But, yeah I appreciate the ease of the Birkin. So I am updating my 2023 list… the Birkin would add Gold and Red and also Chai and Biscuit, Remove 25 right now. I would like any of those colors. Please, please.

kelly 28 - rouge sellier, but has to be retourne, so this will probably not be coming anytime soon. I'd love to see a rouge sellier/mauve pale verso

So in just 3 months, I was able to fulfill 3 out of 4 items on my 2023 wishlist. I also purchased a 2017 Into the Canadian Wild Scarf from Alice Shirley from Etsy which is so special. I feel extremely blessed and have so much gratitude not only to my DH, but for the women who sold the boots and H D'Ancre bracelet to Fashionphile

It will forever be in my wishlist since it is way out of my budget: Matte croc K25 or K28 retourne PHW in noir or graphite... I might be lucky to get one in Paris less the taxes etc but idk, dont want to set high or any expectations for a leather appt to begin with.

My first ( and only ) Kelly bag was a classic Color . ( gold )
But this time i would like a 30B in blue Zanzibar / blue frieda (ish?)
I know these are old Colors but is there a chart or something that I can see before hand ? Sorry to sound so stupid but I want to go prepared since i only have 30 minutes there … thanx !

I would do a search for a color such as ‘blue hermes Birkin’ to see what colors are available for old bags in the results or do searches on ‘Hermes blue chart’. I don’t personally know of a formal chart. Then I would search ’2022 or 2023 hermes colors’.
Then make a list of colors you like from all the research to take in with you.
Here is one I found for newish blues which doesn’t show Blue Hydra…

Bleu Frida is still around, but bear in mind that if you are requesting in May, chances are that what you request will not arrive until next season, which starts trickling in to the stores around June/July. However, most colors stick around to some extent. Your best bet, if you want a blue bag, is to give a range of options. I used to give a range, such as “any pink no lighter than Rose confetti and no more orange than Rose Jaipur” or something like that, but it’s probably much easier to just give a list of all of the colors you would be happy with. Despite all my years of collecting my list is still long; not that I want every color, but with few exceptions there’s no one exact color that I must have.
