2023 Resolution: Shopping my Own Bags and SLG Collection

A long standing tradition in this thread is to remind ourselves of how wonderful our own collections are by showcasing them. We can see how far we have come, collection wise, and we reminded that we have all (or most of) what we need making it easier to shop our own closets.

• New theme weeks start each Sunday

• Don’t jump ahead but, if you miss a week, please do show your bags “late”.

• Show bags individually or in a group

• You do NOT have to wear the bags that week

• For added fun, show old pictures from previous years to demonstrate how you have curated it over time.

• This is completely voluntary. There is no pressure to post at any time.

So what are the showcases? In the Fall, we group our bags by makers! Feel free to show bags, small leather goods, or however it is easiest to organize!

Are these all the same brand? I love the first two and the blue one. How do you like the shape of the blue one in terms of ease of use?
The first two and the blue one are a different brand called Oliveve. The blue is smaller but it is very unique. It works best when not over filled but it can easily hold everything I carry. It zips closed and has a removable long strap too.

This is so adorable.
Thank you!
The leather came from a vintage handbag DH bought for me at a fleamarket. It was the inner pocket which I had to remove to clean the very dirty inside of the bag. As usual I kept the little piece "for further reference."

Here´s another little "shopping bag" charm I made trying to picture a crumpled plastic bag.

oh goodness that penguin is so cute!

wow - the first bag is very pretty (they all of of course but that color is great!), and the color of the blue is gorgeous and a fun shape!
Thank you! I had quite a bit of fun with bags this year. The one with the penguin is Go Forth Goods Merlot. The other one that is The Oliveve Ellis bag hobo in mushroom. The Oliveve bags I buy from a small shop that special orders colors from them. Their website doesn't offer as much as they really have.

It is so fun. If you have the energy, you should do a whole series of mini bags.
