I got my Boulogne in September 2022. Mine has also developed this lines / dents over time. Unfortunately my SA didn’t consider it as a defect, but declared it to be normal wear & tear …
Hi, I had mine changed last year and overtime again the canvas turned old with lines, good thing it wasn't as bad as the first one so I'm still using. Are you in a humid country? I suspect it's the way the canvas is made that's not sustainable to the high humidity as not everyone has the same issue.

Thanks for your post and sharing your experiences dear, this could be a potential explanation. My country is mid in terms of humidity, but it does rain frequently. Also, I wore the bag last winter when it was quite cold outside - maybe that could also be a reason. As besides this lines, I absolutely love Boulogne, I just keep rocking the bag :ghi5:

I am considering buying a pre-loved LV Boulogne from a trusted seller but it has a date code that states it was made in France in August of 2021. I thought that all bags had microchips at this point. Should I worry about authenticity?

Some products had chips and date codes; there was a period of overlap.
I can't remember which items, but I have a few things that have both.

Thank you! I am trying to take a look at the boulogne bag details in person. The bag looks really good in photos. Other than buying from LV direct I can never be 100% certain but the date code thing threw me off.

Hey! For those who have had their Boulogne bags a while now, how is yours holding up? I bought mine in October last year and wore it regularly for a few months until it started to develop the same issue that a couple of other people have had here, with the canvas on one side becoming rippled/dented all over. It was smooth when I bought the bag, so has developed over time. I'm really kicking myself for not getting in touch with LV about it as I doubt that they would do anything now. Having seen that I'm not the only one with the exact same problem, I wonder if it's a fault with this bag or the batch of canvas?
I purchased my Boulogne in March 2022 in Australia, I have used it weekly and have no issues with the canvas. I would be getting in touch with LV if you have any issues with it.

I took a break from LV but seem to be coming back strong lol! I saw this briefly when in a week ago when I ended up with an onthego PM and keep thinking I need this too. Is the vachetta one treated like the montsouris nm was? I have that and love it and it looks similar. It says “aged”? . . . Just wanted to check here before ordering lol.

Hi Guys, I am considering getting the Boulogne with black leather corners, however I know it will be too short for me (I'm 5'8'').
I was wondering if any of you substituted the strap with one from another bag please?

Hi hun! I mostly enjoy using the original strap with my Boulogne. However, the Pochette Metis strap and other options (e.g., black multi-pochette bandoliers strap) that are very flexible in their length, also go well with it.
