There's a post up today on the Purse Blog today about whether no top zipper on a tote is a deal-breaker. For me it isn't, since I live in a small town. And even for my zippered bags (like my 3 Balenciagas) I never zip them up. But I understand where it definitely would be a concern for city-dwellers.
For me, a deal-breaker is a bag that doesn't have a zipped pocket on the inside, at the back of the bag. It doesn't have to be large... in fact, small is good. But it absolutely
has to be there. It's where I put my car keys, my house keys, and my little mini-pen. Those are three things I use all the time, and I HATE fishing for them inside a handbag.

And this is why, even though I adore the look of it, I will never own an Hermès Evelyne.
Any bag design deal-breakers for anyone here?
