2018 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

Oh... I feel like I’m the laziest person. I just use a stripe of paper, write the name of the bag, the color, and style of it. Then, stapled it around the dust bag strap and left it dangling down from the shelves. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

I think someone on this thread or maybe on the Minimalist Closet thread said there is someone on Etsy who can or does make laminated tags of bag photos… but I am way too lazy to do that!
Ordering all the dust bags and tying on the tags was enough for me.

That’s what the genius crafty people on etsy are for~whatever you can dream up they will do it and for a reasonable fee!

How is everyone doing this holiday season? Are you holding strong or are there goodies heading your way? So far this month only the wallet for me. I already counted what’s going to be under the tree last month. I am still hoping more things move at the consignment shop but so far only a sweater has gone this month. I want those ten bags to go.

All I've done is take advantage of the holiday sales to stock up on boring consumable things for the house. 20% off and free shipping gets me every time! But it feels good to be stocked up on supplies I would have purchased anyway in the next few months.

I did, however, treat myself to a really cute pair of sneakers, after not buying shoes all year. These were 40% off at Zappos, they only had one pair in my size, and I just thought the stripes on the sides were adorable. Zappos has free shipping and no-questions-asked free returns for 365 days, so I figured I had nothing to lose. Thes are super comfy, and they look very cute with light denim jeans, a white tee, and a pink cardigan.

I am going to wear the papillon again today. I never ended up leaving the house yesterday. The last minute dh offered to run my errands if I did all the work at home. Do you count the bag as worn if you never actually left the house but your bag was loaded and ready to go. I have not in the past.

I don't... I only make a tick mark if I walk out the door with it. "Good intentions" doesn't count!

I’m feeling light as a feather because I listed 6 bags on ebay! Woot! I’m a bit scared about my Alexander wang going for the starting bid (29 plus 29 shipping. I will end up in the red if it goes for this, because that won’t quite cover fees and shipping.) but I am trying to be brave! It’s just too heavy for me.

Is that the Alexander Wang Rocky, or Rocko, or something? (I can't exactly remember the name). I was always drawn to that bag, but worried about the weight with those studs on the bottom, so I never got it. But every time I saw one, it stopped me in my tracks!

Diego. Same idea but bucket style. GORGEOUS. But they spared no expense when it came to weight.

I finally got my motion detection light installed in the ceiling of my walk in closet so I am not tripping all over myself and having klutz-tastrophes all the time! And I get to admire my purse wall when I walk in. Here it is! 3 dozen beauties. The photo doesn’t show so clearly the bottom row of Taupes , especially the two-in-one-slot Massaccesis (Angelica and midi soulmate). Even more unclear is the next row up of Blacks, Tans, 2 Striped Neutral Fendis, also because there are two bags per square there. Those Just Campagne black bags just do not show up at all in photos, and the tan Celine behind the Mulberry barely shows up either. Anyways, this wall makes me happy! My music stand and flute hanging on it hardly looks aesthetic but really it’s the best place for it. Above the backpack are my 2 shelves for jewelry/hair accessories.

I just got a Christmas card from an eBay buyer who bought my Michael kors. She sent me a benjamin because she felt the auction ended way lower than it should have. That is the nicest random act of kindness since Odebdo sent me a gift Massaccesi Angelica in the mail this past summer. Pocket Purse Peeps are the best!!!!!! I'm just so floored. This will go for my kids' Christmas bounty!
