Good point about the chain strap on open tote because I've tried flap bags only which are a bit different. About the wallet, doesn't it take time for the leather to soften a bit? Then you should be able to get your cards fitted in.

Oh no, wear and tear won’t be the problem. I meant that fashions for chain lengths come and go. The classic Chanel flap lets you adjust length (single, double) so I think it’s more flexible.

The short double length on this tote looks a bit unfashionably short in the age of the crossbody bag.

Have you tried to take it to Mulberry for service or ask for discount? It should be free of charge since it seems to be a design flaw.

That's all I need to hear over and over again (unfortunately) when I caught up with the hype and judgement is not my best friend. I appreciate your input. The most painful action is put a brand new purchase straight to re-selling pile if I don't pay enough thoughts on my purchases. I'm lucky to have such a great members on this thread. If I have posted the same question on C's thread, I'd probably have gotten only encouragemets to buy it immediately from hard core C fans.

I found and bought a ‘perfect pink’ bag today The colour “petalo” from Prada. It was an impulse buy, in so far as I went shopping without it on my wish list. However, it’s a long time coming because I’ve had a perfect pink on my wish list for years. Very happy. I’m going to pack it up immediately to carry to work tomorrow
