I have to admit that I am the dissenter on the planner thing. I put everything into my calendar which syncs with iCloud into all my devices and would not be lost with my phone. I have to because with a 6 person family there's so much coordination happening with my husband and I and we have a family calendar that all entries immediately show up on one another's calendars, but when I put in an entry I choose whether it's a family calendar entry or just for my eyes only and that way I have one calendar with all my entries in purple and the family events in green. It works really well and pen and paper would never work for my husband keeping me abreast of his comings and goings for work trips and my designating times that I go on my own somewhere and he needs to hold down the fort with the kids.

Plus I don't think I would want to weigh myself down with an agenda, no matter how gorgeous it is, after 5 years in a row with a diaper bag I an streamlining what I carry as much as humanly possible and am brutal about what cosmetics I'm willing to carry and put my sunglasses in a leather pencil case because it saves so much space compared to a hard shell, and went from continental wallet which I loved to a card holder which now allows me to use smaller bags most of the time and lighten my load a lot!
I love that you designate time in the family calendar for your private get away time!

Does this bag look odd with my hair color and skin tone?
I don’t think so! I know you’ve always said that red bags clash with your hair. But this photo says otherwise!

Ha Ha. Me, too. I always take my trusty low-key Kipling on my trips. Only the Japan trip that I took my Chanel WOC.
I have this feeling, too, so my Singapore trip this July is quite a struggle, too. I want to take my Chanel or something on the higher end and probably some other bags for change, but the family friends will tag along and I don't want them getting wrong impression. I'll think about this later, though. [emoji4]
If it’s not gonna be rainy when you go I think you can bring some of your nice leather bags with no obvious branding, like the Loewe or Marni.

Earlier today I’m warming to the idea of taking my YSL tote on the trip. But then rain poured hard and I changed my mind!

Just need to vent and would love to hear thoughts on how you deal.. I am super happy about a bag purchase for about 2-3 weeks, then it starts to wane and in a month or so I'm craving a new bag... but doing my best to just divert my attention.
You’re not alone!! I hold off as much as I can. If I get busy with something else I forget for a while. So it is about finding the diversions.

I have no idea what the leather is. I just checked to see if there was a stamp, but all it says is Made in Italy. From the texture, it may be pigskin, but I really don’t know. It’s at least 15 years old, purchased from an outlet!

Perhaps it is then, the Tuscany/Florentine region was renowned for their boar-skin leather goods.

I think I'll take my anti-theft Arden Cove. Not that Singapore isn't safe, but I finally get an anti-slash leather strap for it to replace the original chain strap which reduce the weight significantly. If this works out, I may even consider ordering the new lighter version chain strap from them.
And my TravelMore backpack.

I may take one of my full size Selene, too. At least, it could help curve the urge to buy?

This has happened to me often. I am now trying to stick to a list of requirements I need for each bag. Which is helping me not get tired of them quickly. Make your own list of what works and what doesn't and try and stick to it. For me #1 is how comfortable is it to wear because if it is a pain I end up leaving it in the closet. #2 does it actually work with my wardrobe for that season style and color wise. I made a mistake recently buying a bag with visible gold hardware when I own three pairs of summer shoes in silver. Which left me with a pair of shoes that were not comfortable to wear with it. You get the idea. What is it about this recent bag that your not loving anymore or is it all the crazy sales?

Got my first rainbow hardware bag! An Etsy maker in Australia did it for me, her shop is called PurJus.

I also feel good about replacing my deep blue Africa mm midi angel that I traded with a TPFer for my first mulberry. This metallic navy is even better than deep blue Africa, the grain is not so pebbly as that one was and it's softer and less laminated feeling to the touch. It smells very leathery and feels very leathery. I think this woman has the best metallic leathers I've ever had the honor of seeing and handling in real life. And nice of her to source rainbow hardware for me.

This is my most unstructured bag! Hope I can cope!
I think this bag is very cool!! And perfect for you. BTW, I rehomed my blue Africa MM midi Selene for the same reason - too pebbly and coarse, too shiny surface, etc. I never wore it. I like this rainbow hardware also

Thank you! And yes this pearlized navy is the perfect substitute for the blue Africa I swapped out, I like the feel and the look of it much better. And this hardware is so so so pretty! The fuschia lining is also great and looks wonderful with it.

And oh man the leather smell is super strong!!!

Thank you! And - get well soon, Elaine and Sparkle! [emoji253]

I think, I have to elaborate on that. I am already two bags in, this year, but the itch is strong. I am lacking green, blue and multi-colour in my collection. A lot of my bags are excellent for work, big enough for sheets of paper. So, I could do something on the smaller side, for weekends and more casual outings. This Kate Spade was on my list - which is somehow sad now - but I would get a lot more all year round use from the Coach Parker. And I am lusting for these BV bags but have to wait for the day they might become available... at a good price... To sum up: I would love to find something new but do not want to spend a four digit sum at the moment. The Parker ticks all the boxes but I am confused nevertheless. We are going to an open air concert on Saturday, this would be a perfect occasion to wear it. I will see. Scroll down for pictures!

Thank you for sharing, I do find myself trying to fit a bag into my current wardrobe. I realize that may be the problem. I'm still trying to lose post baby weight but at the same time I'm exclusively breastfeeding right now so I have a lot of nursing tops. The variety in my wardrobe had decreased drastically and this has been frustrating to me. I'm not a shoe person so in order to add variety I've been turning to bags again. I'm usually pretty balanced in terms of clothes and bags.

Sigh... @_@ I'm going on a 10 mile hike today where there's no phone coverage. Won't be able to browse lol. Yesterday we were at Nordstrom and I finally saw the MZ Wallace crossbody I've been looking at online and it looked really nice in person.

Hey all! I need a group hug. I FINALLY listed my past HG - my Chanel 10c red caviar single flap jumbo - for sale on FB. I’ve needed to list it since I got the lamb replacement last year. But, it’s hard to let her go. :crybaby:

Sigh. I also need to list a couple other bags. I’ll get that done this weekend too. I also need to get this bag listed on all the other sale sites like eBay and Tradesy. Gagh! This is so much work. :whut:
