It seems you and I will have different experiences as I'm not even going to try getting up that early! You have a very loyal son to accompany you to this event! Have you assigned him a role that will allow you the ability to work in tandem, or his he simply going along to keep you company?

I spoke to the concierge at my hotel this evening to ask about where to find porte maillot. He showed me on a map, and said it is the main entrance of the convention hall. He wisely noted that you can state port maillot in your Uber destination, and that way the driver will take you all the way to the entrance you specified.

I just arrived Paris this afternoon, and I am not going to be effective if I try going while my energy is low and I am sleep-deprived. So, I will go whenever I wake up because I know the early birds will have come and gone by then.

I was looking through the other tPF threads to see if perhaps any of our members who live in Paris may have posted about their experience during the private part of the sale yet; alas, I have been unable to find any such posts.

I did bring a small seat that folds up and then unfolds into a 3-legged stool that you can sit on. If there is a line that lasts hours, I will need something like that to be able to stand in line, as I have spinal injuries that preclude me from standing and waiting for long time intervals.
I hope they will allow be to use this little fold-up accessory. It's about the size of an umbrella when folded.

He is here for company and maybe an advice on scarves... he will be allowed to sit and read ...[emoji4]

Good Morning guys,
I Artikel at 6.15 and there are about 200-250 people in front of me. Not sure how many will "join their friends" later. Locals seem to be quite fed up with foreigners queueing...
