Yesterday's bag was my BV Cervo Hobo in Gunmetal. I meant to take a pretty pic in Barclay Square but I was late for a meeting. This is an old shot from near when I bought it new. Let me tells you it practically looks the same now and I don't baby it at all.

I wore it with Flamingo Party scarf, again old pic of when I'd just bought FP

Today I went food shopping for just a couple of items and took my V&A/AMcQ shopper.

Are we doing prints this week or is it multicolour? If so today's bag fitted

I think it will work with my jeans. I think I am done with prints now though. I was contemplating giving my mother the brooks brother tote for her knitting. I actually bought that one because my step dad really likes the hard gift boxes they use for his trains. So I bought the cheapest big item I could find so I could get him the box he wanted. I bought him cufflinks from them wrapped them in their tiny box and placed them in the big box for fathers day.

That's so sweet of you to think of your step dad for the box.
Are you in love with these bags? If so, I think they are huge wins - inexpensive and functional plus love. I had a break in my schedule earlier today and started to look for my carefree bags. I didn't see anything I loved that was at an inexpensive price point. Also I worry about quality issues on acre bags. I was interested in a Rebecca Minkoff that I saw but I've read so many bad stories about recent RM quality on TPF that I was scared off from buying.

Seriously. OMG, I've had some of mine since I was 12! That may explain a few things LOL

I think it explains a lot. Recall, I mentioned my family is Tightwad City. My parents had almost nothing when they started but built over their lifetimes. They could have bought a few nicer things but never did. I was raised with zero awareness of designer / couture anything. My parents only cared about education, saving / investing, entrepreneurship. I don't knock them. I wouldn't be where I am now without their wonderful values. But, that means I'm a relative noob on fashion. My family appreciated jewelry for some odd reason so I was raised to get high quality, significant pieces. And my mom had nice furs. But fashion including handbags??? Nope!!! I've only engaged (with self education) in the last 7-10 years. I'm like a wide eyed kid in a candy store!

Hence my handbag reboot (which is just about done) and my wardrobe reboot which is only 20ish% done. It's been a fun journey!

Hospital to see my mum tomorrow, picnic with friends on Sun

Green Pickett ostrich X-over tomorrow, perhaps the same for Sun (not sure yet)

Actually the black version of this bag is used the most it was a different black Mz that I barely used. It was a more dressy version but for those occasions I prefer my leather bags.

I like multicolored bags. I planned to get one or more once I got my basics. So I think these are fun for you to play with.

Beautiful, especially the BV! The AMQ shopper is very cool

Have family here all weekend. We did the water park today, home now because we're in a tornado warning. Mostly will be outside all weekend, bbq...kids working museum....maybe water park again....so will be in bags that can get wet and/or dirty.

I just saw that Canadian theme scarf from H in the orange size and it's absolutely gorgeous!

I'm happy this seems to have sold out so I can't go hunting one down.

The Into The Canadian Wild scarf by Alice Shirley is the only H scarf I'm interested in this season. The one you're describing is a special edition, only sold in Canada, and yes... it's already sold out. But it will be available in other colorways in the U.S. and overseas at some point this summer.
