2017 resolution - shopping my own bag and wallet collection. Any one else?

I'm back in my Fendi again today. By choice. I can see this will be an addictive bag. LOL! I'm very happy I got it. No more buyer's remorse.

Here is my (tiny) Hermes twilly collection. So far I've been wearing them around my neck, not on bags, but next I'm going to try tying them as bows on handles... they look so darned cute!
I hope to find more twillies when the Fall/Winter ones pop up on the H site; they are doing some reissues that look wonderful!

Wow! Lots of color. You have something for any outfit. Congrats on finding your carefree bags. With summer here, I need to get serious about finding mine.

I did something I have never done before I traded a bag in a fb group. Hope when it arrives I like it. Not sure how to count that. I guess an in and and out.
As far as my bags go I usually go for solid colors with the exception of Lv and Bally. So for the carefree bags I thought I would try prints. For the trade it is a print too. I thought I would have a bit of fun this summer in a very cost concious way. This way I save my money for the real love fall bags.

I am bag content until 2018. Fall is going to hurt though, because that is my favorite time of the year for bags,clothes, shoes......I love the colors and the textures and the different materials....But I'll live.

I haven't bought anything this year (except the LC neo as baby bag and that doesn't count in my main collection). I would say I'm happy. I still looove all my bags and the last addition was the Bal mini last summer which I got as a birthday gift. DH is saying I can pick out a slg for my birthday this year and I think that will pretty much be it for the year! The gaps in my collection are still there but I'm still not in a rush to fill the gaps. Gotta admit I've been feeling very tempted to fill the orange/yellow (one or the other, not both) gap but it's not the right time to spend bag money for me.

I just saw that Canadian theme scarf from H in the orange size and it's absolutely gorgeous!

I'm happy this seems to have sold out so I can't go hunting one down.

Hi LVintage! No, it's a store that carries a lot of brands. I went to the Bal boutique at Venetian yesterday, and they had that same bag. I took a look to mentally compare the featured and I'm happy with the deal I got!

That's really great dc! I'm so glad you are bag content!! Kudos on making the right moves in your buying and selling to curate a collection you love.

For me - I'm madly in love with my collection. I purchased / was gifted all of my bags within the last 2 1/2 years. So they're aligned with my current taste, needs, wants.

The only bags I may buy in the next 18 months (besides the low cost carefreee bags we talked about) are a black fashion tote and a third dedicated work bag. And, even with those two purchases, I'd be at 29 bags which is under my mental limit of 30.

And, not being in bag buying mode is a good thing. I've got to focus on clothes. I want to be as happy with my wardrobe as I am my bag and jewelry collections.
