Just want to share this. Yesterday, I showed some co-workers the bag insert in my tote. It was not to brag or something, but to share the idea that an open tote can be made secure by using this and it can be done beautifully (at least IMO). Then of course they asked the price. So I told them ($68). And then they turned away! I guess my realization is, what are reasonable amounts for me are already too much for some around me. I think some here don't even buy bags that are near the price of the insert!

I know. That's why I stop discussing the price with anyone long time ago. People justify things differently. Not to mention purchasing power.

Being on tpf has changed what I consider reasonable.

The price of Ferragamos flats, LV bags, all are reasonable for me for many reasons.

To others, it's extravagant and expensive. I have to figure out who will understand my enthusiasm without judgement, and those are who I can share with.

Luckily, that means tpf! [emoji4]

But yes, I feel we have a higher threshold of what a good price/ value is.

Since you said it was meant to be playful, I think I know what you mean by that.

here's my grey shawl in action today, i like the size a lot - i can wear it on a sleeveless top as a vest/jacket and it works perfectly well for the office
i didn't even expect the grey to work out so well for me!!
