Afternoon ladies, lovely collection of bags as usual. Its lovely to see such versatile collections; there are some brands i've never looked at or considered but looking at pics from peoples collections has given me an appreciation of some styles [emoji4]

This is my addition to the grey theme

IMG_1492441592.751272.jpg

1) Fendi 2jours (had it initialed)

2) Saint laurent small betty (its not an exact shade of grey, it falls slightly between grey and cream though it looks more cream in the pic)

3) Bottega Olimpia shoulder bag (another funny shade of grey I can't quite place)

My most used is the Fendi.

Thanks for letting me share [emoji4]

Light Pink is neutral to me. It goes well with my coloring and I can wear it with my very-minimal-to-no-existent makeup just fine. I'm no help. [emoji4]

So, unless you think it'd be too much of a stash in your collection and you'd rather keep the money for something else, I don't have anything to oppose. But, the fact that you are on the fence about this, maybe you should think a bit more. Will wearing scarf automatically makes you more dressy? Because with that, you'll need makeup anyway even though it maybe lightly applied. But if you live in the climate that wearing scarf is something you just do, then it's just another piece of clothing. Not accessories. KWIM? [emoji6]
to me pale pink is neutral, too
it was a question of resistance because i am trying to be mindful and 'shop my closet'
Sometimes i just need a small touch to dress up a plain office attire without doing much ....

It's gone! I guess you bought it? [emoji57]

You have to show me the photo when you get it coz I haven't seen what it look like yet. [emoji16]
yes, i got it eventually, will post pics when it arrives :D

I agree, it used to be my favourite brand but I stopped buying new about 4-5 years ago and started buying other brands. I felt Mulberry were just trading on past reputation, and the leather was not good, microfibre just finished me off, and the prices became ridiculous to boot  I bought a bag from the new collection last year, but it wasn't a keeper for me and I sold it recently. Some of the new designs are lovely, but many are too structured for me and I still think prices are too high. I downsized a lot and only have 2 Mulberry bags left now.

I'm exactly the same, Mulberry was my favourite brand for many years & made up about 80% of my collection. I don't think they are anything like worth the price tag, they drove me to look at more expensive brands when their prices went up and I sold off loads and replaced with more expensive brands. It was a good result and helped me enormously to downsized my collection.
Lol, I couldn't possibly use them all and I feel I'm moving in the right direction. I haven't bought or been tempted by a Mulberry for several years. The Cara was the last I considered as I thought it would be great as a City break bag but I agree with other comments, it was way too heavy and I resisted. If I buy a new bag now I'm strict with myself and sell off another but I would still like to reduce my bag collection by a few. I think I'm down to a sensible amount of purses/wallets.

It would be fascinating to know how many everyone considers to be the right number of bags & purses and how many is too many??

I like your 2jours. One of a better design fendi offer, I think. And this medium size is just perfectly practical.

I don't have the number. When I feel it's overwhelm me, that's too many. [emoji28]

But many of us here have the number. Some go by storage space, etc. [emoji4]

adore all the greys! I tried to quote everyone to comment individually but it keeps getting cut off!
I'd love to add more grey to my collection, but I've gotta be good.

As far as the numerical limit to my bags, my limit is 30. I have 25 at the moment, with 2 on the chopping block. But I feel 30 would fit in my closet with a little tetris. Any more and it won't fit. lol.

Thank you for all the well wishes, life is getting overwhelming again, just as it seems to have settled.

I've seen a lot of posts on the "10-bag capsule" and I originally thought that would be easily achievable as I'm not one to need a bag for every outfit...but I was wrong. My world ranges from dusty hikes with dogs to developing-world photo trips sleeping in mud huts to everyday casual office to power meeting to date night...etc. ...plus travel. I'm at just under 20 bags now, which includes some collectibles that I don't really wear, and I'd like to cut down to fifteen or so.
Too many? I can't judge others. For me, over 20, but if you saw my shoes you'd judge me :p
