Little Prada drawstring that I use as an evening bag, Michael MK clutch and Loeffler Randall bucket bag.
Seagull photo bomber gets her own photo. I think she likes bags too! [emoji23]

I am enjoying photographing my bags. It involves some amount of setting up; makes me think twice about adding more. [emoji6]
Beautiful bags, especially love the Gucci. What a gorgeous background you have!!

LOL! Hopefully someone who loved it as much as you do was the one who got it. :amuse: I was extremely happy to get rid of it and for a price more than I paid for it!!!

The patent leather, charms, quilting and chain straps was too much. It made it too twee / fussy / girlie for me. If it had been the lambskin version, I would have had a completely different perspective. In fact, I've seriously thought of getting it again in the lamb. But, in any case, I loved the functionality and want the exact same structure in my future tote. I'm totally sold on center divided sections in totes! [emoji3]
I sure hope so! It is girlie I agree, my totes are pretty utilitarian.

I love all the black bags! I will photo later.
Nursing and posting right now.
Spark I am green with envy because you get to move if you like. I am currently serving a twenty year sentence of my expat status, due to the misstep of dropping babies abroad and divorcing their dad, and my ex is not about to let me take his sons with me if I moved. I have six years left, 14 under my belt and the idea of having some choice in the city I live in, the continent, the country, the hemisphere.....well I think I would be weepy drunk with the power of that feeling after all these years. I'm definitely anchored and it kind of feels like prison, even as I sit in my dream house on a lake in a beautiful residential neighborhood with a kind and loving husband who looks like Hugh Jackman that I am crazy about , and I can continue to rattle off all my blessings until I'm blue in the face but it just doesn't erase that I miss my family and friends and home country and am not wild about the country I'm in and especially hate this city. My ex's home town. Shudder. Spew Spew hiss hate.

Sorry to derail the conversation!

So sorry for your terrible predicament :hugs:

Thanks, Sparkle. I didn't think that I did hobos either; I sold 2. Then I realized that I should have kept one. I like this one better than the one I sold though. Who would have thought that this handbag collecting takes so much planning! [emoji23]

Thanks, ksuromax!

Aww, thank you Pessie! [emoji8]
IKR?! If someone had told me 5 years ago that I would keep and actively manage handbag inventory lists, wear logs, and detailed shopping plans, I would have said they were crazy.

And I don't know what you sold but I:yes: think you got a great hobo. I'm tempted to get one for my carefree bag.

You and I can commiserate with each other over the perils of living in the wrong city. We didn't want to move around a lot when the kids were younger. So, most of their growing years, we were stuck (through a weird set of curcumstances) back in my home town. Not a bad place but not where I want to live forever. Along the way, we did short stints in 2 other cities. One horrible. One ok.

This move was to try out a few things before committing to any. All...nope!!

So, now that DD is graduating from college and DS is settled working towards his masters, (um... when did my babies get to be adults???). I can go ANYWHERE!!! I do feel a little "weepy drunk with power". And, I'm super excited!!! But then, I'm always excited about something.

...and now I'm desperatley trying to figure out how I can get a view like Mimmy's!!!!!

The positive side of all the planning is a much more cohesive (I think) collection. I used to just buy handbags randomly; some worked, others didn't.

I sold 2 MbMJ Hillier hobos. One black, one green. I know quite a few people still have these; they are great bags. For me, they lost their appeal. The great thing was that these sold very well.

My newish, MJ hobo is an excellent carefree bag. I got it at a very good price; don't mind using it in the rain or putting it on the floor in a plane. If you really want one, they are markedly reduced right now at a variety of stores and online sites.

Yes, there's silver, gold and ruthenium colors and shiny and matte finishes! The CCs are matte light gold while the chains are a mix of everything else.

All these metals together... how wonderful!
I'd love to have a necklace or something that does this (though it would probably be MUCH to heavy). But wouldn't it be cool?

Yes it would! I've been thinking about this bracelet, although it's less diverse than the Gabrielle chains, it's still cool! Sorry, completely OT!

That's my problem - I like so many of them! I like the beige and the black and also the crispness of the white and the black. There will most likely be an iridescent one for fall act 2 that looked gorgeous on the runway and who knows what they will have for cruise?!

[emoji16] That's going to be hard to decide. [emoji16]

I'm taking my time and thinking about it carefully. I don't need any more shelf decorations, lol, it has to be a bag I will use regularly. That's the good thing about handbags; if you miss out on one there is always another beautiful one to take it's place!
