Lol!
So no more furry bags? I always wondered how those could hold up. I also wonder how metallic holds up with use. Never kept either long enough to find out.
no more furry bags haha. I've heard metallics fade in corners but the Cole Haan ones I've used never had that problem; a coach drawstring one i have does have that problem but I'm ok with it cuz it sort of adds to the look.

I think I'll sell some bags to "celebrate" making the quarter ban. Then continue the ban to a half year.

It'll help me use my bags more and think of what I really can use as opposed to just buying anything because I can.

Shopping my closet is boring but gotta do it. I have so much stuff handbag and SLG wise to figure out what to do with.

I have to also ignore rumors of price increases. Usually I'll get something before the prices increase but if I'm not willing to pay the higher price, I didn't want it enough.
you've been doing great with your ban! If you were going to sell your bags, which ones? You already have quite a well chosen collection.

thats super cute!

Went to concert last night and wore my new Givenchy Moto jacket with my red Jumbo
great jacket!

Weekend plans?
I took 3 year old to hip hop dance class, and it was a male teacher today and she spent 20 of the 30 minutes hiding in the corner but eventually got into the groove with the group. Bought 11 year old new sneakers, went for lunch, then groceries, then home, then cooked up three quiches for neighbors coming for lunch tomorrow, one for our dinner tonight, and two for the ten of us tomorrow to eat (6 of us, 4 of them).
I took Kipling north south hello kitty print tote as mom bag and it was great. So lightweight and cute. I gave away my beige and black leather botkier weekend carefree mom bags so I'm going to use my Kipling and jujube and mz wallace nylon bags more often on weekends running around with the kids and diapers and sippy cups in my bag.

Tomorrow's the lunch, then a play date at my girlfriends' house who has same age littles as I do, then taking my older kids to their dad's, then that is it.

I want to hear about more exciting weekends that is more concert and the like oriented, and less play date centric.
Wow, that sounds jam packed! Nothing too exciting here - my FIL arrived in town last night and I have to prepare some work for the coming week haha.

Why did you give away bags that were carefree? Just curious.

because I had lost the love for them and they were so long in purgatory in my minds eye. The last times I used them the whole time they were on trial and at no point in using them this past autumn/winter did I feel attached. Had to go. Great bags but no joy anymore. I knew this mama is on a tight budget and when I asked if she was into leather bags and showed her one she lit up. So I went and got the black one as well and she loved it even more than the metallic beige one so I just had no doubt about insisting she take them both as a gift. Knew I would never have second thoughts.

I'd sell the Dooney, probably get over my not wanting to sell Longchamp stuff and sell that, and maybe bring my premiere down to 5 bags? Or maybe even 5 bags total. I could up to 10 if I really can't part with some.

I don't use them often enough.
I also don't want to worry much about moving them, or storing them in my new home.

I was looking at insurance for them, and it's such a hassle. It's better to minimize than pay the insurance.

Oh, that's so sweet. I love hearing stories where the thing goes to someone deserving. [emoji4]

Besides I can use Kipling tote and jujube backpack as actual carefree diaper bag options because they are meant for that, machine washable and utterly carefree!!!

Machine washable is necessary. Can't recall how many times food or milk leaked in bags of kids I babysat. Had to wash them every time for their mother's.

That is so wonderful. I love doing stuff like that. It makes them so happy but it feels so good inside of us too.

Nothing exciting for my weekend.

Catching up with work between hospital visits (my mother). That's it.

Just using McQueen shopper and X-body pouch.

I'm out now. Went to a Bally outlet event . Picked up shoes for my stepdad and another Bernini tote in the medium size in merlot. The strap on this one was softer. I bought it in person to be sure. Now I am going to contemplate whether to keep the madewell too .

Ooh share pics! I think I know which tote that is. Gotta make sure it really won't hurt before you let go of the madewell.

I use mine for trips to the beach since it's huge.

Speaking of the madewell tote, the newer ones seem so prone to deep scratches and heavy set wrinkling. Or is this how they always were?

i'M BACK from my concert. IT WAS AMAZING!!! Our seats were so good and I had so much fun. I can't believe it happened LOL.. so surreal. It was a simple set but they didn't need anything flashy. I want to move there and watch them every day lol.

Went to concert last night and wore my new Givenchy Moto jacket with my red Jumbo
You two going to concerts is making me so excited for warmer weather! There are so many good groups I want to see. One of my favorites, Jamiroquoi, is coming out of semi retirement. They only have European and Asian dates so my BFF (who is also a crazy fan) and I are trying to see what dates will work and make a girls trip out of it.

I also can't wait for all the various music festivals that pop up around the country. It's always great to make a weekend trip out of them. :happydance:

And Missie, your outfit is insanely gorgeous. That moto jacket screams style!!! It pairs soooo nicely with your Chanel.

I love green, not so much in clothes (the only green that looks good on me is a jewel tone) but in accessories. There's a green that I love, but it is a long ago retired Louis Vuitton Epi color, Borneo green. I hope to find one like it in a small bag...someday.

I love green clothes but have a hard time find finding interesting pieces. I'll wear just about any green except minty or light greens because I don't like pastels and I have to keep olive / army greens away from my face because it does nothing for me.

I went back to look at this color (Borneo green). I really love it. Have they replaced it with another green?
I don't have any green bags. I was hoping to find a nice one that went with my wardrobe but nothing has jumped at me. I am not making an active search as other colors work in it's place.
That's where I am with the color. I love it. But I'm not actively searching. I'm hoping the perfect one will fall into my lap.
