Week 2 challenge for me is one brand - Marc Jacobs, so that I'll be forced to wear them more. Starting with the Rita today. I like how it goes with my outfit. I'm attending a seminar at a hotel today. And as influenced by tpf, I'm trying scarves now (dangerous!) but I only have 3 so we'll see where this goes. [emoji4] On the bag, maybe with the right one I will come to love flaps?...

This is a great look all the way around.

I did not think I'd be able to complete the challenge this week...lol! It was not easy but I did it

I definitely need daily variety. I was getting tired of the same color everyday. I like having black bags but I enjoy color. Good thing about the week's challenge is that I decided to use my one and only Chanel tote. It's my first one and it's 9 years old now :). I still love it but use it very rarely because I dont carry much these days. I took a pic of what is in it...lol! It just lines the bottom of the bag  Oh well, I actually enjoyed using the bag today.

Here are the bags I carried for the one color challenge on the first week of Feb...

So I finished the first week of the February challenge for one-color all week. I chose black because I like to switch out my bag frequently and black is the only color in my collection I have that would allow me to change bags as often as I like.

I learned I really do need variety in my bag collection. Wearing one color felt really constrictive, and I had a tough time putting together outfits I liked. That said, it did really help me with getting out of my comfort zone to try new combinations and pairings I might not otherwise attempt. It also taught me a lot about how I usually like to put together my outfit, which I might not have been able to articulate before.

I will need to consider if I want to participate in other challenges that limit my options. For this one, I kept thinking I needed other items in my closet if I was going to pull this off on a regular basis, and I don't want to create artificial gaps on my shopping list.

Here's everything I wore in black this week:

I fell short of completing this week's challenge. I managed to carry a purple bag for 5 consecutive days (4 in my eggplant Coach and 1 in my mauve RM) and then I got bored and switched into orange and black. So... I think I am not very good at keeping to one color.

For next week I was planning on RM but it's snowing a lot lately and in such weather I don't want to carry my colorful bags. I think maybe I will go with Fossil instead.

Beautiful bags! It's nice to rediscover old favorites.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who struggled with one color, but purple would be a tough one anyway!

Very nice bh4me you have a nice range of black bags. I really like that all black reissue. Not typically seen; is it a patent or a metallic finish? ( I tried to zoom in on your Panarea to spy on your handles - they seem in good shape...knock on wood!)

AnnabelLee That's an unusual Chanel (1/2 classic quilt, 1/2 chevron). Very nice! What are the two black ones on the right? The square quilt and the one with round front & gold clasp?

I've managed to change my handbag everyday so far this month. [emoji38]

Today it's my LV Dora MM in Royal Blue (my last blue bag for the week) with the Tropical Epi bandouliere strap.

Your Dora is an amazing blue, love the strap, too!

That's just Wow! I love the Dora. Kind of want to pinch myself a bit for not getting it. You pair it beautifully with that strap. The colors are so good together. [emoji7]
