Late to answer but better than never. I think my influences are ever evolving yet vague at he same time. My mother influenced me only in her opinions - none of the women in my family have a distinct style. I can say though throughout my life I've done my own thing. Every phase of my life I can recall - HS, college, young career years - I never fit in with my "peers" - I did my own thing but have always dressed more "mature" for my age. [E.g. - since my 20s reading My fave fashion mag with the style by ages sections - I always related to the 50s, 60s and 70s age demographics. So I like refined classic.

I will say as I have had kiddos my style has become far more relaxed yet super colorful. I wear Lilly Pulitzer almost all Spring/Summer - it makes me happy and in my region of the US it isn't common. If I lived some where it was super popular I doubt I would like it so much....because I truly like being unique -but not in an attention grabbing or dying my hair magenta short of way.

Thank you, all! It is a lovely bag, but it's not without its challenges. It doesn't hold much, which is fine by me, since I usually just carry my wallet, my phone and sunglasses, but I can see where that would be an issue for some. It's long enough to fit my biggest wallet, a LV Sarah, but I went to pick up theater tickets yesterday, and they were given to me in a standard-size envelope that didn't fit in my bag without folding the paper.

My favorite color is pink and I haven't been able to wear much lately so I grabbed a pink sweater and built a casual errant running outfit around my favorite color combo - pink and silver. But I need it to warm up. I neeeeed to be able to wear my dresses. :frown: Separates are too much work. LOL! I'm carrying my medium Chanel classic flap in pearl grey lamb with rhw and my fuchsia caviar Chanel card case. Wow! This bag is a statement piece. The color is amazing! The studs plus bow make it edgy and fem at the same time. I hope your pen fits!

I know the feeling as I'm permanently in black uggs until the weather breaks.

The pin fits just barely, now I would have to use super flat card case and keep my phone in my hand. Idk about this one

I love the look of the Chanel medium a lot. In fact I like the way it looks on me a little better than the jumbo. But I just can't see me buying more because it's just not super convenient for what I want to carry.

I had been considering looking for this bag in pearl beige or possibly black with GHW. But, as much as I'm crazy about my grey bag, I don't want this style in multiples.

You like the medium Chanel more than the jumbo...I just fainted. I think the medium is so small on me but agree jumbo can look little large.
