Thank you!Happy almost Birthday! Great job on four most of abstinence.

Thanks! The wiser part is hard fought. It's way too easy to slip back into old habits.Yay on 4 months!!! Happy advance birthday! Certainly getting wiser on bag purchases!

Yay! Thanks!Happy early birthday Sparkle. Kudos for foing some relaxing, celebratory To complete a big year andtravela cruise to mark the birthday!
Thanks, HBG! And no, the new car is a hated necessity since I had a car wreck and totaled my other one.Happy birthday Spark! New car for your birthday?
Thank you! I'm sorta hoping I can hold out and continue to appreciate what I have. I realized I hadn't worn one of my favorites - my pearl grey Chanel - because I bought my silver Diorama. That tells me I need to sit, enjoy and rotate a while. For Sparkle ... OMG… It’s earlyish here on the East Coast and I need more coffee. Also I’m on my iPhone and editing… not so much.
So… Congratulations on the travel. I admire your spunk for pulling that together. But what I really want to say is… Four months without a bag!! That’s major. Congratulations. Even if you were to buy a bag tomorrow, the achievement stands, lol. Enjoy your travel and your birthday week.
Thank you!Awesome, Sparkle! You can make it to 5 months!

YES! Ease of use is so important. I love my Diorama, M/L Chanel, my JC hobos and my LV Lockme II BB. But each is a pain to use in some way. So, I had a stern talk with myself and I have to push functionality a little higher on the list.Congrats on 4 months! I’ve gone 3 (last bag purchase was Aug. 29) but don’t know if I’m gonna make it to 4. I feel the same way about reasons to buy, however — I don’t want to just purchase because something is pretty and I like it. I want it to fill an identified need. The only thing I really need right now is a shoulder tote (and I might try to justify a little tiny just-the-essentials bag, but that’s really more want than need if I’m being totally honest).
In addition to filling a need gap, I’m going to try to make sure there is an ease-of-use factor in anything I buy from here on. I have enough bags with fussy clasps, or that aren’t quite big enough. I want my bags to work with me, not be one more challenge in my life!
And, I unite with you to plead with the purse gods for our perfect totes to appear in 2018.
